This is literally the only sentence that matters from yesterday. It’s great that we have a re-engaged fan base and all these discussions are relevant and true for our upcoming offseason, but we lost not because of of anything specific, but because our mediocre players couldn’t even play up to those standards and were just playing really, really bad. But honestly, that’s to be expected of a team new to the playoffs playing game one on the road against a team with a lot to prove. All of the home teams won yesterday, and if you look at the final scores we were right in the middle of respectability. And we have the best excuse for why we had the struggles we did.
