Say what you want about Nurkic but you can't say the man isn't big.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Honestly, anything would work. I looked at the Spurs' salaries and I struggle to find a trade that works because matching Clarkson's $14M salary with realistic Spurs players is difficult. If you could just take him, that'd work. If the Jazz had to attach a second round pick, that'd probably also work. As long as the Jazz aren't saddled with long-term salary, almost anything goes.

Honestly….i don’t think it would take much. The Jazz missed out on using Collins packed with Sexton to take back bad salary and they have signaled they want to move these guys so bad to clear minutes for the young guys they are willing to lose in a trade.
So what player do you have that matches? Is that player bad enough he won’t take minutes from a young player? And it would have to be a one year deal or you probably have to throw in a second or two.
That’s about all it takes with this “new” front office apparently.

Will Hardy loves Keldon Johnson. I think the salaries match, but Klutch has been known to wield trade influence. Keldon has been in trade rumours before, and he's still with us. I really like him and hope we can keep him, and instead trade, say, expiring Barnes plus whatever else ie/Branham.
"Wake up. Eat. Lift," Williams said during Monday's presser. "Keep eating. Eat all day. Take a nap. Wake up. Eat again, and that's kind of been the regimen."
"At this point, I hate everything I eat," Williams said. "You do it so much, you don't even eat food to taste it, you're just eating it to get calories... If I get steak and potatoes, I'm living with that, but every time I see food now, I get sick."
"I can really eat whatever, because it's not like I have to watch what I eat. It's like, eat whatever... there's a fun part in that," he said. "But, yeah, I hate eating... I know some people are like, 'I wish I had that problem. I'm like, no you don't."

At 30M? Too steep. And what do you do with Collier, Clayton and George? I think it's too soon to add long term salary of decent players who might even help to win unnecessary games.
I say tank the season, get another high upside player and then see if it's time to add good players.
