Hello, if you are interested in our players, what would you consider a fair deal for JC?

Honestly, anything would work. I looked at the Spurs' salaries and I struggle to find a trade that works because matching Clarkson's $14M salary with realistic Spurs players is difficult. If you could just take him, that'd work. If the Jazz had to attach a second round pick, that'd probably also work. As long as the Jazz aren't saddled with long-term salary, almost anything goes.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Honestly….i don’t think it would take much. The Jazz missed out on using Collins packed with Sexton to take back bad salary and they have signaled they want to move these guys so bad to clear minutes for the young guys they are willing to lose in a trade.

So what player do you have that matches? Is that player bad enough he won’t take minutes from a young player? And it would have to be a one year deal or you probably have to throw in a second or two.

That’s about all it takes with this “new” front office apparently.

Will Hardy loves Keldon Johnson. I think the salaries match, but Klutch has been known to wield trade influence. Keldon has been in trade rumours before, and he's still with us. I really like him and hope we can keep him, and instead trade, say, expiring Barnes plus whatever else ie/Branham.

If it’s an expiring contract I think you can send anyone. The worse the better as I think the new Ainge is prioritizing tanking. Honestly I agree in the grand scheme of things, but I think I am jaded because Ainge Sr. held onto these guys so long that we as fans have become accustomed to the idea we would get something back.

So send any expiring player who sucks that matches. Maybe send a second or two. And apparently we have a deal.

Cody Williams is trying to put on weight but hates to eat...

"Wake up. Eat. Lift," Williams said during Monday's presser. "Keep eating. Eat all day. Take a nap. Wake up. Eat again, and that's kind of been the regimen."

"At this point, I hate everything I eat," Williams said. "You do it so much, you don't even eat food to taste it, you're just eating it to get calories... If I get steak and potatoes, I'm living with that, but every time I see food now, I get sick."

"I can really eat whatever, because it's not like I have to watch what I eat. It's like, eat whatever... there's a fun part in that," he said. "But, yeah, I hate eating... I know some people are like, 'I wish I had that problem. I'm like, no you don't."

Why does our feed for Summer league look like a grainy YouTube video from 2005? There is no reason a smaller market arena can’t provide good quality video in this day and age. The feed on espn looks like a vhs recording.

Danny Ainge has a great job building winning teams and a good judge of talent. He took a lot of heat when he drafted Jalen Brown and followed with Jason Tatum. He took more criticism for trading superstars and his methods on flipping players for draft picks. A wheeler dealer in action making is his style. He made some errors, but he has with too many picks some talented players were lost to other teams. Drafting Ace Bailey to the Jazz is another good move but time will tell. Danny & Austin Ainge have done well. Give them time to build a winning team

I don't see the point. Kuminga plays on Bailey and Hendricks' positions. Why would the Jazz do that and also commit 30M per season for it?

Same with Giddy. 30M is way too much and if the Jazz are serious about being contenders at some point, they can't be saddled with this sort of contracts.

At 30M? Too steep. And what do you do with Collier, Clayton and George? I think it's too soon to add long term salary of decent players who might even help to win unnecessary games.

I say tank the season, get another high upside player and then see if it's time to add good players.

30 mil is probably too steep, but if it's a flat deal with the cap going up it could be worth it..... I just really like tall PGs...... I would deal Collier for Giddy.......

You're probably right about waiting one more year to add players, I just really like tall PGs, lol.....
