I’m kinda ready to move on from hart or at least reduce his role. And I do like hart but we need another scoring threat on the court. Unfortunately with the roster as constructed I don’t see a valid replacement option. Kinda wish we still had Donte.

When Zinger is hitting those 3's they are nigh unbeatable....yet we still almost did beat them. Is it any coincidence that this was the first time we played them fully healthy?

They are more talented imo, mainly size and the fact they can all shoot 3s really really well while also playing defense..., but also because of that bench.

So where can we improve?

Bench Depth?
Mid level acquisitions and /or trades?

The hard truth is that we may still have to wait for the Celts to get worse. The good news is the Jrue and Horford are pretty old. And Porzingis isnt the most durable....

We can beat them in the second round big dawg, in a few weeks people are going to be surprised when we go toe to toe with them, they figure out they NEED to run the offense through KAT against those team and put him on the block when there's small guys on him

I actually didn’t think OG looked good guarding Tatum

He lost him easily at the arc

Bridges is doing terribly but he tightened up and played some good defense

Tatum is not all that … you can beat him if you forget about the refs and play all out against him … he’s very good but also a product of soft reffing

Knicks need to be more physical with Tatum...get him frustrated asking for calls. He is a whiney bitch to the officials when he isn't getting calls.

That one occasion Mitch blocking him makes me wonder if the team should get creative to use a big on him. KAT is punishing Tatum in the paint on the other end, he may try some D on Tatum in the perimeter as well.

Dont get me wrong....we are kinda close.... and we can beat them ...if anything we proven that we can compete with them. But I think they have certain advantages - like the height , switch ability, and 3 point shooting that make it challenge during our 1st year as a team. Next season it could be different.

Harts a sixth man and an amazing one at that.

Yeah and I think we probably need to get him back to that role. He’s had his moments and we can point at the triple doubles and everything but the clear plan for the opponent is to leave him open and more often than not it works. I don’t think we can carry on long term with that

The same donkey front office that signed Kemba Walker to 2 guaranteed, traded Grimes and 5 1sts and a swap for Homeless Tony Campbell isn't saving this franchise or making a 'good deal'. Same braintrust that extended R_ a year early? The only good deal was hiring Rick Brunson and paying him under the table to get Jalen here. Even that took cooperation from the actual worst FO in Dallas.

They could turn him into 2 players, realistically. He makes $6-7 million more per year than Isaiah Joe, Herb Jones, Aaron Nesmith, Aaron Wiggins etc. He makes hustle plays, and that's nice and all but in the current NBA you have to be able to shoot. For all intents and purposes he's a center, and the good teams treat him exactly like you would a C that can't shoot, they ignore him.
