Think with Mamu maybe being a one and done due to the cap a stretch big could be more of a need...that being said bpa if there's a noticeable difference in talent.

Shead is good and Chucky is developing with the 905. The Raptors seem to be really good at getting PG's in the 2nd round or undrafted and developing them.

I guess if not a PG that would go top 3 then might as well get an upperclassmen in the 2nd or UDFA.

Mamu should get a better contract but maybe the tax payer MLE would be enough? I would choose him over Ochai and would even give an extension, for maybe 2 years is fair for both sides?

Chucky looked fantastic in the 905 game I went too, notably how quickly he reads the game, his D (reminded me of a mini-CMB, super active) and his shot looked really good too.

Definitely agree the focus needs to be the front court. Raps have had some very bad luck with Koloko and Chomche, they need to go back to that well.

Holy ****! Is this draft deep or what ? Our FO would really have to be incompetent to miss with the 1st round pick, so i'm not too worried

23.7pts 4.3reb 1stl 2blk
67.6(fg) 52.9(fg3) 72.7(ft)

Looks like a 6'6 Kevin Durant body with the playstyle of a higher IQ more intense Shaedon Sharpe. This guy is a crazy prospect to add on this draft woah.

I haven't watched anything but these clips but at first glance he looks like a much better prospect than say Tre Johnson from this last draft. If he keeps that type of play up, he will have top 5 considerations. Obviously will have to look at full games, and larger sample size.

Good eye. I can see it. Shaedon with a consistent jumper and more defensive effort would be an All Star.

came here to post about him after the game he put up against one of the country's best defenses. Checked his stats and he's also looking like a potential top 5 pick in a normal draft.

If a good chunk of the incredible prospects keep doing in conference play what they've been doing so far I wouldn't be opposed to trading away multiple future unprotected firsts to get picks in the late teens and early twenties in the 2026 draft.

If we could flip Agbaji, Dick, Mogbo, Mamu, or any of our bench guys for additional picks next year, this is a golden opportunity. It would be a short term hit but it could propel us for years. We don't want to miss out on this draft.

Suigo looks like a good project. He's big 7-4 and he can shoot. He doesn't look very athletic but he seems like he's got a thin build. He's still learning how to move his massive body.

Yup. A stretch big in the Mamu style or an Athletic rim running shot blocker would be a nice fit. I had thought we would want another big PG but I agree that Chucky is looking like he might be that 3rd pg we're looking for.

So far Stienback and Flory and Yaxel are the ones I could see being interesting in last half of first round. Kind of seems like a weak big man draft at this point.

It's early but I think I can say with confidence Flemmings isn't making it to our pick. I have him going I the lottery as of now.

I thought that too, but you look at his lower half and OMG! the dude does not skip leg day! He shies away from contact a little too much for my liking, but there's a chance that with added strength & maturity, that comes around. His passing is good and the shot looks solid. Never going to be super quick footed, but the size and length can make up for it

Yup. unfortunately. Reminds me of the Tyrese Haliburton experience. I was super high on him after his freshman year, was thrilled to see him mocked in the late first round (and close to our likely pick), and watched in frustration as he played his way into the lottery.

No one is trading a pick in a stacked class for our junk.....We missed out on the best trade package we could have taken when we got offered that NOP 2026 pick and prolly Jase Richardson for CMB....We would not only have been a playoff team this year but we would be picking in the top parts of this stacked class.....To me that is a fireable offense by Bobby if he got offered that deal and didn't take it....Just so many blunders by our front office the past 5 years....That trade would have set us up for 10+ years if the pick is high enough to grab one of the guys that look franchise changing.

I'm 1000% on this Cam Carr bandwagon with you...aside from Peterson, he's my favorite guard in this draft!

Ahead of Brown Jr, Fleming, Aciuff, Philon (who I think is the guard we'll end up with since we won't draft early enough for the others). I know he's slightly older but he has some CRAZY attributes with his elite athleticism & measurements, huge motor, fiery competitor (reminds me of a Westbrook energy wise) but can actually shoot! Again idk if him being a slightly "older" prospect is being held against him or people are just late to catch on but this kid should easily have top 10 buzz imo. It's almost mind boggling to me how mock drafts have him currently projected late 1st, idk how scouts could possibly watch him and let him slide....

I wanna daydream about us being able to draft him but I really don't see how he's gonna fall to us (short of him having an injury or one of our main guys have an injury *knock on wood) but man I'd KILL to be able to draft him the way he's looking so far. I don't think I can even picture a more ideal PG for our team....and dope aside -- he's already super tight with JaKobe, just saying.

@1:40

I think it's probably both.

It's early and the draft journalists like to slow-roll their evaluations until conference play starts before they push a guy up too quickly only to see his stock crater against tougher competition. The age is probably also a factor as it was for Coward, but that was a different situation due to his injury and weaker conference. But talent is talent too me, and his jumps off the screen.

One thing I will say is that I'm not sure he's a PG, at least in the traditional sense. He's a shooting guard/wing to me. He needs to improve his handles and he'll really take off. Even with a looser dribble he attacks the rim and absorbs contact, despite not having the strongest frame either.
