Luckily this should all be settled in a couple of weeks.

Here's some rumors...

I've actually heard this off and on for a while, not the "strong indications" though.

There are "strong indications" Kawhi Leonard is interested in pairing with Jimmy Butler if he leaves Toronto to sign with the Clippers. (Sam Amick, The Athletic)

Butler would have to force Philly to do this then not get anything(no idea if Butler even wants to go to Houston).

The 76ers would "likely" be willing to facilitate a Jimmy Butler sign-and-trade with the Rockets rather than lose him for nothing in free agency. (Sam Amick, The Athletic)

The Knicks are considering extending a one-year offer to DeMarcus Cousins if they miss out on Kevin Durant in free agency. (Marc Stein, New York Times)

New York Knicks guard Emmanuel Mudiay will become an unrestricted free agent after the team didn't extend him a qualifying offer. (Chris Haynes, Yahoo! Sports)

Not sure Brooklyn will give Kyrie a max if they bring back D'Lo and if Boston signs Kemba where will Kyrie go?

The Lakers have 'serious interest' in bringing back D'Angelo Russell and have set up a meeting with the All-Star point guard. (Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN)

If we leave this offseason by lobbing a nuke into Houston for multiple future first round picks, redirecting an overpaid, antiquated center (especially in the playoffs) to the Celtics, and finish it off by getting D'Angelo Russell, I'll gain some faith back in Elton Brand.

That rumor posted by Sixers Saturday says that the bombshell is that Boston would want Capela in a Houston/Philly trade. I.e. Boston would be the 3rd team.

If there is any truth to this, I'd only do it for Tatum. Not Brown or Hayward, f that. We have all the leverage here.

If we do this trade, we need to get picks, players, and still sign one of Russell/Kemba. If not, we are no longer contenders.

They didn't trade Tatum for Davis, they aren't trading him for Capela. Ask for their Memphis pick or Brown.

In that case I'd not trade with Boston. We have the leverage. if Jimmy wants to leave we find a player that helps us from another team. Brown has stagnated.

He works for USA Today, I know he specifically broke the Howard to the Rockets news years back. I'm sure he's broken a lot of news but I can't specifically name any others off my head, you can see who follows him on Twitter, he's as legit as Stein/Woj/Shams etc

Amico is the one who's a total sham with fake news. Amick is legit.
