The Thunder are still very much the favorite, one game doesn't change that. Now the pressure is on the Pacers to do better in game 2, because they played awful today.

Thunder are favorites to nerds who can’t understand basketball gameplay. There is nothing special about OKC.

The Thunder are every bit as good as advertised. You don't luck your way into the best record in the NBA. You don't luck your way past a tough Denver team and Jokic. They are legit.

Again, this is one game. They lost game 1 to Denver as well. Its big for the Pacers, but they've got to win 3 more, and it won't be easy.

Denver only became a "tough team" because they took an overrated OKC team to seven. It was just people trying to justify why OKC couldn't deal with them more handily.

Like I've said over the last two seasons.. OKC are just not that special of an offensive team in terms of versatility, offensive creation dynamics, and reliability. Not yet in the least.

And, their size make-up is unbalanced on the perimeter to the wing spots.

Between the two, the Pacers are the better offensive group, night to night.

BUT, let's see.. how the rest of the series goes.

They have a franchise point guard, a system + players that suite him, a GREAT coach, AND THEY'RE TOUGH!!! Pacers are the favorites in my eyes.

In hindsight OKC didn't do themselves any favours by not shutting the door completely on the Pacers when they had the chance (they really should have been up by 20 plus at half time with all of Indy's mistakes and turnovers)

You got to punish Indy hard on the scoreboard when they are not playing well/fumbling the ball over, OKC didn't do that.
