I dont think that his comment says much other than that he doesnt like the current situation here. If it were another player i would think he wanted a trade but Embiid just says whatever comes to his mind. He is probably just frustrated with the FO moves, the fact that he is forced out of position and that he is now getting booed. I dont think he will ask for a trade but he will ask for things to get fixed in the summer.

Yeah he played sideshow like he did at Minnesota as well with Kat and Wiggins.

Like it or not the dude wants to be "The Man" and that wasn't going to happen at Philly. He used Philly as a way to get out of Minnesota to get to Miami. It is as simple as that. Thinking he ever wanted to stay here in Philly is just delusional and goes against everything he said prior to joining Philly when he clearly stated to the Wolves that he wanted to be traded to Miami where he new he would be the Alpha.

Oh that's so bad because it seems Joel do believe Jimmy would stay with him for a long time that's why he's so pissed off right now and decide not to give 100% effort to show his anger to front office ?

LOL no.. not at all. I think Embiid is pi55ed at the front office for bringing in Horford instead of a shooter to replace JJ. We replaced Jimmy with Josh Richardson... and that's like for like as far as playing style goes (Guards that prefer attacking the basket than shooting 3's). Now we have Horford who isn't a good 3pt shooter being dared to take open 3's... and it's not what Joel or Ben needs.

But here is the biggest issue. It's Joel. I reckon if you managed to steal all of the other 29 NBA teams game plan for how to play the 76'ers it would look like this:

"Double team Embiid at every opportunity. He rarely passes out of double teams and is prone to turning the ball over by trying to play out of it instead of passing. It also has the added benefit of affecting him mentally as he gets easily frustrated and affects other parts of his game like his defense.

Collapse entirely into the paint on Ben Simmons. Double & Triple him in the key as the 76'ers have 4 below average three point shooters usually on the court with him. Let Harris, Embiid, Horford and Richardson shoot open three pointers all game long.

Now if only Joel could give 100% effort all the time, learn to actually pass out of a double team rather than play out of one, and not throw his hands up in the air at teammates or become disinterested whenever he doesn't get the ball every single damn possession.... and we may have a chance of winning on the road.

It's also the part you quoted - who is he going to pass to? Horford and Richardson have been shooting at around 33% from 3 this season and Harris has been at a slightly above average 37%. However, these guys actually get open looks and this makes these percentages even worse. Some of their misses have been very ugly, like the ball barely touches the rim or it bounces like crazy, you could see that either they are not in rhythm or they're actually bad shooters. In last game against Chicago, Harris passed up an open look, dribbled the ball a bit and then shot with a defender in front of him. It eventually got in, but this isn't good. This is why Korkmaz is thriving IMO, he is actually a capable spot up shooter. Maybe these guys are more to be blamed than Joel and Ben.
