I'm sure you're aware the KNicks don't have a first round pick in 2016.

Just for fun, here's the last 5 years worth of picks #2-5. How many of these players are you feeling great about being a franchise type players (again, keeping in mind the Knicks didn't pick on this year and won't be able to pick one in 2016.

They're not on the cap are they

No, they're not. Just thought it was somewhat odd/funny that our GM/coaching staff will likely be paid the same as our star player. I'd guess that we're the only team in the league that can say that.

Obviously, there's no single or simple answer to that question. It all depends on the amount of leverage the various parties have - and what the available options are.

But to me, if he insists on a no-trade AND I HAVE A REASONABLE TRADE OFFER ON THE TABLE (which may not be the case), I move him. I just dont know what Chicago or Houston has or hasn't offered.

I have no idea what an attractive offer from Houston would look like.

I also seriously doubt Melo is going to give the Knicks a couple of teams he's willing to go to.

Is it possible he's asking for the no-trade (knowing that PJax wouldn't want to give it to him along with the max) as a way of getting out of NY? Just throwing one more negative aspect onto his max deal as a way of trying to encourage a S&T?
All-Time Draft

PG- Oscar Robertson/Bob Cousy
SG- Earl Monroe/James Harden/Dana Barros
SF- Billy Cunningham/Michael Finley/Chet Walker
PF- Elvin Hayes/Dolph Schayes/Tom Chambers/Danny Manning
C- Walt Bellamy/Neil Johnston/Darryl Dawkins
