You remember Mark Aguirre for good defense? Might wanna check those meds.

My first hoops memories were hearing about Magic Johnson and watching the Bird/Magic matchup in the 1979 NCAA tournament. Then, my family moved to Missouri from Michigan, and I followed Magic to the Lakers as a fan.

It wasn’t until the Pistons drafted Isiah in 1981 that I paid any attention to Detroit, and really not until about 1985, when I moved back to Michigan, that I became a fan of the team.

I moved to East Lansing in ‘78 as a 10 year old and that ‘79 year run was my first introduction to basketball. Great innocent times growing up. The hockey team was good too.

I remember the sweet "20 and 10 Machine" Bob Lanier. Followed his games over the AM radio on WJR.
He was by far my fave Piston, until Isiah arrived on the scene.

Which side did you fight on in the Civil War?

I was on Crazy Horse, Geronimo and Sitting Bull's side.

Killian Hayes gets a second shot with the Nets!

They are definitely doing their utmost to get Cooper Flagg

Both the Pelicans and Knicks are interested in Stewart, and the Knicks also have interest in Duren(yeah, good luck with that).

I dont think either will be moved this season, unless the Pistons are blown away by a proposal.

Knicks are desperate as hell though, what with losing IHart, and having glass-man as their starting Center.

I'm thinking that interest from the Knicks is probably gone now

I don't know about that. Towns is an upgrade for sure, but he is more of a 4, then a 5.

Rebounding, specifically offensive rebounding is a hallmark of Thibs, and Towns is not a great rebounder to begin with. IHart was 6th in the entire league in offensive rebounding percentage last season.

Point being, Stewart would fit perfectly on the Knicks with his defense, rebounding, amd shooting either backing up Towns, amd playing alongside. Stewarts value is really high right now due to his contract/age/defense/rebounding/toughness/shooting.

If the Knicks could get off of Robinson for Stewart, they would in a heartbeat.

KAT averages 10.8 rebounds for his career. He's not an amazing rebounder, but he's quite solid, and you'd be playing Hart with him as well. He had a down year playing alongside Gobert, but without Gobert scooping up the rebounds and back in his more natural position, it'd follow that KAT would be closer to career averages.

On his career, he's averaged 2.8 offensive rebounds per game. I-Hart averaged 2.5 offensive rebounds last season.

Rebounding isn't the concern with KAT. He's fine in that regard. The issue is rim protection.

Henry Ellenson got a two way with Milwaukee, i thought he was done. I’m happy for him.

They signed and waived him and Justice Winslow. Guessing for the purpose of getting them on their g league team. It’d be nice to see him get another shot at the NBA.

This didn’t feel like it needed its own thread. Cole seems like a Duncan Robinson type project. I have no clue about Alondes

As far as I can tell, Wendell Moore jr is still a Piston

Day dreaming about a reality where the Pistons chose Coulibaly or Lively Jr instead of Ausar.

It's actually kind of impressive how much of a disaster the Sixers season has been so far.

Imagine someone saying that Maxey is going to score 25 a game (he’s forcing shots, but still) McCain is going to get off to a great start, you’re going to get Paul George…but you’re going to start 2-12. No one would have believed that

It isn’t just the record.

The team is in shambles inside and out.

Weird that the ESPN game is ORL-BOS while there's MIN@NYC game.

It really feels that the elite players aren't worth what they used to be on the trade market. How much is a trend and how much is incompetent front offices will be interesting to see over the next 6-8 months.
