I think you put him a situation where they train him out of some of his bad habits and you’re looking at a player who could turn into Alec Burks. Which is actually a really solid roleplayer and could be a key piece on a good team.

I agree Alec Burks is a solid player... but his value would be equivalent to picks ~28-35 in a draft.

So they are saying pick him ~14 and hope he improves his game enough to be worth ~30 pick...

I see potential in his game, but he's clearly a second round prospect for me.

That isn’t a choice in a vacuum though guys below him have longer developmental cycles, and might not even mock as solid roleplayers. JHS biggest issue is he has bad habits, there are guys in this draft who are raw and may never get to the point they be as versatile as JHS.

You have to try hard to do this misspelling. Let's please not confuse him with Keyontae Johnson.

I was sneaking replies at my job on my phone. The original correction spelled out Coyote and I have to freestyle

On Apple devices, the normal auto-correct for Keyonte is 'keynote.' Okay, carry on.

Well hey at least he didn’t out himself as constantly typing something embarrassing.

Anyways what do people think of Tristan Vukcevic? Kind of a Mike Muscala type is that a fair style comparison?

By sky high, to answer Clyde, is I can see him ending up at 5-7 in a redraft years from now. I understand most aren't as high as that on him, and that's fine.

I see him basically as a more athletic Mardy Collins with a jumper...and yeah, I know most would say Collins was average, at best, and I'm not arguing that, but I see Hood-Schifino as Collins on steroids.

His mid range game, especially going right, has the potential to be among the top echelon, he uses his body well and has a good enough release. Though, his catch and shoot numbers are pretty mediocre, and three feet beyond mid range he needs to get consistency.

He's someone I wanted the Clips to snag, but no way he drops to 30 at this point....at least I hope I'm wrong.

He's enormous and looks like he can shoot. I really haven't watched him play at all though so it's possible he's so bad on defense he's undraftable.

Right - seems like most sites haven’t updated his info and list him at 6’10”. Guy is basically pushing 7’1”, correct?

20 year old at 7 foot one with a solid three point shot and >1 assist to TO ratio in a good euro league seems like a good starting spot.

As a Celtics fan he seems like a guy they’d be into. They’ve got a full roster and have stashed guys recently and love bigs that can shoot or pass.

Mardy Collins is a hella weird comp for anyone. I literally have zero memories of him in the NBA. Like I know he played, but the guy was basically invisible when he was on the court.

Yeah he's 7-foot.

He's kind of raw on both ends of the floor. There's some questions about the defense, decision making with the ball and ability to do other stuff besides shoot. But only 20 yrs old, moves pretty good out there, with that skill set at 7-feet as at least worth a 2nd round flier.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

He's skilled for sure, he has a good array of post moves as well, on defense he has been very bad but his biggest problem was going to big time European clubs (Real Madrid/Partizan) and not developing properly. He played for the GOAT coach this year but that coach will not tolerate anything and rarely plays young players and completely took his confidence away. I think a year or 2 in the Gleague is the best thing for his career while he gets physically stronger than you could have a decent player. He's a mix of Bjelica and Skal Labissaire.
