Last game of the season. Sixers and Lakers tied for the second worst record. One of them needs to lose the game to have the edge. That's all I want to see.

How sucky this season is if we drop out of the top 6 while being disappointed of not having BS and Biid playing the amount of games we expected them to be?

We suck now, expect some epic losing going forward.

Kings getting whipped now, nice to see. Pelicans need to pick up the pace a bit to push the Kings downwards.

Lakers already ahead of us with the "epic losing game".

Ive given up all hope on the Lakers. Im just going to pray for the Lakers 2, Sixers 3, Kings 4 in the standings and go into the lottery nervous as hell. I REALLY want that Lakers pick this year, because any two of the Top 7 guys added to this roster Id be ecstatic about.

They are sewing up that number two spot in the lottery with their usual tanking via incompetence, which Adam Silver seems to love.

Unless we go on a 19 some odd game losing streak the Lakers will finish with the 2nd worst record. I do love for our sake the Suns remaining schedule. One because they are playing well, but two because they have a realistic shot to catch both the Sixers and the Kings. They're remaining schedule is incredibly easy all things considered.

Suns have 19 games left, only 8 are vs current playoff teams. And of those 8 games, 6 of them are at home. Also extremely important is that they have 2 more left vs the Kings, where they could easily make up 2 of that current 4 game deficit.

Im all in on GO SUNS, GO MAGIC. Where Sixers get 3rd worst, and Kings get 4th worst. Very realistically could happen if Magic and Suns can cooperate(and Sixers dont randomly start winning again.)

I said before the season the Lakers roster was awful and would have the worst record. Well they won't have the worst record but they will have the second worst. When they started off hot I was rooting for them to keep winning because I didn't know how long they would continue to play above their heads. We all should just assume we aren't getting that pick this year. We need to worry on our team. We were born for this. Tanking is what we do. We can't let Orlando out tank us. It's the final stretch. Let's show Orlando they can't hang with us. If we pass them in the standings we need to set our sights on the Lakers. Let's be epic. Let's lose out.

One top 3 pick is more than enough for a team who loaded with high level prospects like Embiid / Simmons / Saric and great complementary piece like Covington. Not to mention we would have a solid young second unit in progressing with Holmes / Sauce / Anderson /TCL /TJ.

We haven't heard from that guy who said that anyone who wasn't convinced the Lakers pick would be worst than 10 was delusional.

We have an excellent chance to get 3rd and 4th worst records between us and the Kings. Both teams will lose a ton of games down the stretch.

Probably won't catch the Lakers for 2nd worst, but that's okay. We'll have an ~ 80% chance at a top 3 pick between us and the Kings swap, plus a 44% chance of getting the Lakers pick at #4 or #5 overall.

Time to end the 1st (tanking) phase of The Process the right way and lose lose lose!

I wonder whether Dallas can catch OKC or Atlanta. Both teams have been playing poorly lately, while Dallas has been in great form. If Dallas win tonight, they will be 6.5 games behind Atlanta with 19 games left.

They'd also have to catch all the other teams between them. Dallas has to go 14-5 after tonight to even get to 41-41. Just really doubt there will be 18 teams with .500 records or worse. 17 teams would have been a lot more doable.

At this point I've given up on Phoenix staying back with the Lakers, and am rooting for them to pass us and the Kings. The Lakers are such a dumpster fire, even if we don't get the pick I'm not sure how they make the playoffs next year anyway. Lou is the only reason that team isn't vying with the Nets.

We're getting #4 this year. I can feel it.

If the Lakers stay at 2, then we still have a 45% chance of getting the pick. That is almost double the odds of what we had last year of getting the first pick.

Ultimately, it is out of our hands now. The Sixers are full on tanking now, or at least I am full on rooting for losses now, and the Sixers and Kings will probably both end up in the bottom 5 or 6.

Basically, lottery night is going to be huge again this year, and it could go either way.

Our best bet is hope SAC continues to fall and we can fall to at worst third. Ideally you'd like to surpass the Lakers but they are in full tank gear.
