Shocked we pulled this off.

It's a good reminder that as much as we talk about 'realistic' deals we have to account for dumb moves from unfortunate franchises.

Sorry, Charlotte fans! Condolences.

We all assumed we were stuck with fat Salmons on a huge deal for years and somehow Hammond pulled off the deal of the century and we were going to draft the guy we really wanted (Klay). Of course I hope this time it doesn't turn out we really end up with Stephen Jackson

Just have to keep our general focus on what we gained from this and dealing with the Kings, Hornets, and Pistons not the Raptors. We should be in good shape then.

Also we just established that there is at least 1 GM worst than Hammond

This sums up Hammond's tenure perfectly.

They probably figure he'll be a beast in the PnR with Kemba.

May have been the stakes in a hand of poker Jordan lost to Kidd.

Kidd: "hey, you wanna swap Spencer Hawes for this 52 million dollar benchwarmer?"

Jordan: "DID SOMEONE MENTION A HAWES TRADE? DONE DEAL."

Kidd: "Cool, let us have Hibbert too"

Jordan: "DONE."

Kidd: "what"

Jordan: "what"

I actually do like Snell but hope this doesn't end up being a redistribution of Plumlee's salary towards Snell. Come on, let me see some more shake ups

There has to be another deal soon we have 5 centers. Monroe or Henson will be gone before the next game.

We have to be trading at least one of Henson or Monroe.

Thon looks like he can actually play a little so I doubt we really want to go back to him getting DNPs.

Scrolling through twitter, one of the NBA guys I follow suggested this move was to free up money for Snell. I'll see if I can find and post.

Someone needs to remind Hammond that Snell is restricted.

I've been seeing rumblings on twitter that we might bring Novak back if a spot opens up...uh, why?

Honestly, Novak being cut makes me almost as happy. I love Steve, but it was more than time for him to hang it up.

Long time until the trade deadline, should be an interesting month of February. Hopefully
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
