If we wind up losing it will be because Houston is the better team, plain and simple and D'Antoni outcoached Kerr which so far seems to be the case.

Kerr isn’t blameless but the players have made mistakes with bad TOs and bad fouls. Bigger than anything though is the Rockets are built to beat us and we wasted a ton of roster spots on guys we can’t play in this series which hurts with injuries to the wings we do have like Iguodala and to a much less extent McCaw. All 3 levels of coaching adjustments, player execution and roster construction though so far I think we underestimated the Rockets and they’re playing very good.

I personally felt it was a massive mistake letting Omri Casspi go and feel it's evident that he would have been extremely valuable in this series. He was a fantastic fit with this team.

He's not that much better on defense than Nick Young, nor is he a knockdown shooter. Casspi is just a body at this point, but at least he's not Nick Young I guess.

Biggest difference is I’d say is he’s more judicious with his shots (although Young hasn’t been doing his Nate Robinson impression) and he will make cuts off ball and has a higher BBIQ on both sides of the ball. Young is more stand still and makes dumb fouls but also has more microwave potential. Caspi would only be able to play PF in this series though and wouldn’t be a huge difference. Potentially could help more ina series with two games so close and so many guys on our bench that are unplayable. It was a stupid release of a player though. I know we needed a PG and Cook filled in nicely but I’d have rather traded Damian Jones to a team like the Hawks for a trade Exception since we probably decline his option anyway and Bell is so much better.

I should say that I definitely think he's going to play if it does get to a Game 7. Probably not very well, but everybody thought the Pistons were screwed back in the '88 Finals after Thomas got hurt, and we were lucky to beat them. So who knows what will happen. But in all likelihood, yeah, that's it for the Rockets. My nightmare scenario is them somehow pulling it out, then gifting the Celtics with a title as Paul limps around and/or sits out.

Dont know the severity, but you do not wanna play on a hammy strain..that thing snaps, paul could be out for a good chunk of next season. That type of injury is very easy to aggravate

I don't see any way Paul sits the biggest game of his career unless he can't walk. Doesn't mean he'll be even remotely adequate, or if he'll even be able to last more than a few minutes. But I have zero doubt he'll at least try to give it a run.

I also believe they are front runners that wilt under pressure and play with little heart. Their historic talent advantage (and luck with opposing team injuries) mitigates that usually though. If Houston wins this series it will just strengthen this notion, especially if they manage to win tonight.

The difference is none of these players force it like Kobe.

Houston will be fine if they add Lebron. Better than fine, they will win multiple titles.

As a basketball fan I love to watch Lebron. Nothing more exciting than watching him do what he did last night. If he goes to Houston we probably get robbed out of those 40/10/10 games but thats what happens when Durant choosing the easy way out and now competition is dead.
