Re: 2020 Off-season Discussion
Does it make sense for us to make any big free agent signings? We don’t even have many roster spots open at this point and I’m 100% on board with developing our second rounders from last season and this season to see what we really need heading into 2021-22 to push for the playoffs.

I agree. I really want us to punt on free agents this year. It’s easier to accept another developmental season especially now. Idk.

Re: 2020 Off-season Discussion
Well at least we tried. And it couldn't have been that much more than the MLE. Now is the time to solve center cheaply. Go young with Wood. He's 24. Let's GO!
It has been written...

Aren’t we worried Woods half season last season is an outlier vs what he really is? I’m playing devils advocate here because I’m really wary of adding more salary just as we are ready to let Zeller and Batum expire.

Bogdanovic would be a strong addition.

With a strong salary, no doubt.

Agreed. He's who I want, but the rumor is Atlanta.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Re: 2020 Off-season Discussion
I don't want to spend major money on anybody. Most of the worthwhile players either wouldn't come here, or are just very good role players.
Neither fit our current timeline.

Imagine how pissed we’d all be if we just spent $60m on Jerami Grant?

Re: 2020 Off-season Discussion
I have no idea what Detroit is doing. They're going to lose and be dysfunctional. That isn't the environment you want young players to be in.

Re: 2020 Off-season Discussion
Detroit may be the only team that is legitimately more dysfunctional than we are. Stuck between rebuilding and trying to contend, at once.
That contract makes no sense at all. 20 million per year for a 25mpg role player.

Well, maybe Detroit isn't trying to lose. Leaves OKC, Charlotte, possibly SAS, and Cleveland
