Than again we got our ass handed to us by ATL and Charlotte. Have no confidence in coaching or team.

Then you want #7, with Boston defeating Milwaukee tomorrow & Philly winning out. That would put Boston at #2, Philly #3 & Milwaukee #4.

Assuming we make it out of the play in, I would prefer Boston to Milwaukee or Philly.

Milwaukee I want no part of. Philly its possible we could beat them. But Embiid is too much to deal with.

Boston without Williams, is a series we could possibly win.

That would be the best case in my view.

I don't think were going to make it to the ECF.

But if we did its very possible Simmons could play with that much more time to ramp up.

I’m not ducking any smoke. I want to play Milwaukee in round 1 if it plays out that way.

hard to say, 3 teams tied for #2.

Boston has STRONG incentive to play for #2. Its been all but confirmed that Brown and Horford are not fully vaxxed and can not play in Toronto. Its been the lead story on sports radio here in New England.

Looks like Thybule is unvaccinated also. Philly in a weird spot, they want to avoid Brooklyn and Toronto hoping to draw the Bulls

How are things looking after this Knicks game? Are the Nets gonna be able to secure the 8th seed?

Things haven't changed much. Win out and we're 7th. Atlanta won, so no cushion there.

Brown, Horford, Thybulle not being vaxxed is so funny.

The media went off on Kyrie all season. I wonder how they will react knowing those players won't get vaccinated either.

I mean Philly can survive losing Thybulle. Boston cannot lose Brown and Horford. No shot.

They might be working hard to avoid Toronto more than avoiding us.

Everyone desperately wants to play Chicago right now.

Do you fear Milwaukee? Last year we all know we were stomping them until Kyrie went down and were 1" away from beating them. This year we have fared well against them...

-Loss by 19 on opening night, no Kyrie after a weird training camp. Harden fat + targeted by regs

-Win by 3, in Milwaukee with just Kyrie

-Loss, in overtime, after being up 9 with 3 minutes to go. but we outplayed them all game

We owe them one for last year. id love to see them.

We were better last year. WAY better coaching with Dantoni.

Jeff Green was a good 3 and D guy we don't have this year. Joe Harris before he forgot how to shoot. Griffin was also playing really well.

This year we have no good defenders basically. Just Bruce Brown whos undersized.

In long 7 game series yes I do fear MIL. I won't let their jeykll n hyde season to fool me. Come playoff time, the physicality will be high along with the swallowing of whistles.

We don't have the brutes to match. If we're not hitting an abnormal 3pt % the other matters of scoring is not in our favor due to Coaching.

Their bucks, Giannis and Middleton, can play at a high level at a much more realistic runtime than KD and KY who probably will be runned to the ground, whether leading up to that series or potentially throughout the 7 game set.

Ky went down that forced Harden to play but must part we had a better supporting cast last yr vs this year.

That loss in OT vs bucks just days ago, that happened even without Middleton playing after the F2 foul.

We definitely owe them but their brand of style to be physical than us, faster than us, quicker than us along with actual on court system/structure is something I do want to avoid early.

I also think Milwaukee is better than last year.

Giannis is just better. He was a horrific FT shooter last year which was crucial for us. And he had no mid range game to speak of.

Now he can hit his FTs and make a wider variety of shots.

Now if we get to the ECF, the team is humming, and Simmons is in the lineup maybe we have a shot.

A first round matchup would be disastrous. I give us virtually no chance.

We are a much better team roster wise. worse coaching.

Jeff green was good. but no way he trumps the additions of curry, drummond, and a healthy kyrie. blake cant even crack the center rotation on this years team (although maybe we should). We also have some depth. we were basically playing 5 guys 42 minutes at the end of that bucks series. we have a legit 8 man playoff rotation this year with Mills, Drummond, and Dragic

speaking of dragic, our PG rotation was mike james, chris chiozza, and a fat 1-legged harden

I think we would beat them in 6 games, assuming no kyrie/kd injuries.

they are much less equipped to handle us this year. last year they had tucker to make it tough on durant. now they have no one in that role. Kyrie cooks their whole team and gives middleton trouble. middletons game is predicated on crossovers into a pullup but kyrie can stay with him.

The series woudl likely come down to how good jrue is over 6 games

Giannis doesnt scare me and the playoff version of him is still worse

Drummond is not useful in a playoff series.

Jeff Green was a good defender. Harris was decent. Curry is better offensively but much worse defensively than both those guys.

Blake was way better last year. Could make his 3s.
