I would like to think positive that the insta-lock of earlier tWo threads were just mods respecting that one of us core tankers needs to create it to be official.
or they got really tired of watching uninspired ugly basketball.
We've been giving up corner threes since 2019.

Bro Amen Thompson would be a godsend for this team
Pass. Can't shoot. Scottie unironically the better shooting potential, that's tragic.

We need someone who can punch the gaps though. His first step is generational on top of having elite defensive tools.

Yeah, I’m in. Unless you can compete for a championship, this is a year you have to be involved in the lottery. I think Victor will be on a different level than even today’s superstars so yeah, gotta give yourself a chance. It would be nice if we could add to the odds. Is there a way to get the Lakers draft rights? Does NOP want an all star point guard for Alvarado? Hopefully, management doesn’t **** this up by making win now trades.

Be interesting to see if blazers include the full 4 picks plus bunch of swaps
i am sure they will include lillard too
Not this exact deal but Siakam for Sharpe+Simons is absolutely fair, hell we lose on that since POR doesn't have draft capital atm
I think you are severely overrating Simons if you think that twitter guy's proposal was that ludicrous. Only thing outrageous was the addition of multiple firsts, since Simons+Sharpe are basically their entire prospect cupboard.
Siakam has been All NBA 2 of the past 3 years, Simons will never reach that level, he's an undersized scoring guard. Elite shooter but that's it. terrible playmaker and defender. POR will keep running into the same issues they had with the MCcollum/Lillard pair.
Not to mention advanced stats a landslide for Siakam+ he fits Lillard's window.
That said, I would want to do a simpler OG for Sharpe+deal, and look to ship Siakam to another team that can actually give us picks

Can’t believe pacers got Haliburton for Sabonis man.
What a dream trade for a treadmill like the Pacers were.

I am still cheesed at that #7 for OG rumour this past summer. That was in the range of either Mathurin/Sharpe, and we didn't pull the trigger. You look at a guy like Sharpe, he just has that fluidity & bounce we have been lacking in a Raptors talent for Years. Great wingspan, jumpshot, athleticism, Canadian. It was right there and we said no to keep the perma injured Bambi on ice SMH
For once, we need to prioritize scoring talent (that isn't undersized) on this roster. Enough of the offensively challenged stiffs we keep taking (exception of Siakam, only fluid athlete we took). Although with **** like checking out Josh Giddy in Australia and bringing in Dyson Daniels for a workout, I won't get my hopes up. Masai obsessed with these tall pass first guards. smh Amen screams a Raptor pick. We gonna get Amen and Scottie ball AKA rank 30th offence in the half court for the next 5 years.
Please we need to win the Lotto to save this FO from themselves and take the best prospect ever

This is one of those years, I still feel like we're too good to get a good spot in the lotterry, feels like tail end is where we are destined, not top 5.

Fifth worst odds might be possible. Wizard’s are healthy and hopefully start winning, magic have been on a roll destroying the Raptors and Celtics.
When TWO was in full swing during the Tampa season all I wanted was the 7th or 8th best odds because at that range you had a legit chance at moving up without having to be one of the worst teams in the league. And that’s exactly what happened and we got Barnes.
7th is very attainable. 6 is a long shot because I don’t think the Magic will continue winning forever and the Wizards have a tough schedule even after their losing streak. Chicago I’m hoping adds talent and starts winning again, they’re our biggest competition.

They do have a top 15 player - so what. The supposed top 4 is not very good. Their identity is defense and they can't defend a chair right now.

I don't want to be in the 7-9 spot in the lottery. Lets bottom out and have a bottom 4 worst record. I want a high pick and get a guy with star potential.

The irony of being at that 7-9th spot is that they've moved upto the top 4 since the lottery revamp.
Us, the Kings, Bulls, and the Pelicans who won the Zion sweepstakes

He actually has a first step and can explode past people like no player we've had since like 2005
