I thought he had a shoulder problem? He got bad knees too?

Maxey is your G, so wipe all the other G targets off the board.
I like that idea, I still worry about scoring a little, but I think if Maxey and Embiid fire we'd be fine.

Got traded to Portland to become the 2nd guy and signed an extension knowing Dame could be on his way out. Are we sure he’s gonna be okay coming back to Philly to be just a defensive stopper. 3rd option behind Maxey and Embiid? Could have stayed in Denver and been Aaron Gordon.

Nuggets won the championship with Jamal Murray and Jokic as their top scorers. Warriors with Steph and Klay. We can do it!
We just need to involve others, it will ease up the defense on Maxey and Embiid.

Unfortunately unlike those 2 examples, Joel hasn't yet proven he can be a dominant scorer in the playoffs consistently. Maxey is still up and coming. But, possible.
However best to stack the odds. Boston basically has 4 all stars, Milwaukee 3-4 that play at that level depending on Middleton health.
Grant and Lavine fit perfectly. I also truly don't believe Grant would require too many assets. I would try like 3 second rounders and expiring deals
Trading before the deadline should be a priority, so that it's possible to maybe keep Melton or something

Well, there’s no point in treating a franchise player as a franchise player when he’s not reliable in the playoffs.
how much more talent does Embiid need? Thats probably why he opted to play for the US in the olympics than for France.

If Philly blows it up, whatever.... But doesn't seem like that's their mindset. They all want to believe it because they're all in for a ring. Morey is there for a ring for sure. But you gotta see things as they are. Joel has a history

I think its early to blow it up and the best play here to keep competing with Jo until we ran out of option.
Morey did a good job compounding cap space and picks as a fallback if the Harden plan fails.
If you look around the league there’s also only a few teams that can compete with us, not just because of assets but with the type of assets that is available.
There’s no Giannis or Dame that Heat or Knicks want. I dont know if they’re interested with the assets that are available out there.

Thoughts on Julius Randall?

Lols i was just checking on him because of that thread on GB. Im thinking of giving up expiring (morris+roco) then we send them a swap in 2029, where they give us a real first round pick.
I find Morey to be picky to a players points per shot.

He's not ideal. But he's a forward. I think he fits like Pascal fits
I mean he's a guy that can create offense for himself and others. 3rd option is where he should be

Randle needs the ball to be effective. And even then he's not always effective. He's fake good, just like Siakam. Avoid.
However, Quentin Grimes is a guy worth getting if you want to pluck someone out of NY.

Blazers actually look good without scoot.
Brogdon
Sharpe
Camara
Jerami Grant
Ayton
But this is against league worst Grizz and with the refs wanting close games in this in game season tournament BS
