i've never seen a coach vilified to the extent that Ham has. We got people who can't recognize sets questioning his x's and o's and people who think the guy on the sideline is responsible for what the players do. Those who never played will always point fingers.

I think plenty coaches got vilified agter failing in their jobs. Luke Walton is still a meme.

Ham is both recent and amplified by the LeBron factor. We talk more about this guy and people around him for obvious reasons.

They were watching a clip of Ham with the clipboard in his hand and he was just saying that nothing ever got done in terms of the actual coach aspect of the game. He said something along the lines of "tell us who's going into the game... who's gonna be out there after the timeout?" as well. He even ended it saying "it was a long timeout too", as in he didn't really accomplish much in the huddles even with longer intermissions

I just had to find this thread again. Oh my. This is what happens when you look at the record only.

Reddick saw the lineups that worked and didn't and made changes fast. He's actually active during games, and now he has found an elite defense with 40 year old Bron and fat Luka in it. He certainly has his credit on making the team mesh as fast as they did.

Don't even mention them in the same page ever again. They don't even belong in the same library. Reddick is a great coach. Ham was just a potatoe.

Ham was better, you could always hear him saying 'lets go guys' and motivating his group in the huddles. Reddick is just drawing up plays and talking about adjustments.

As mentioned by other intelligent people that are not OP, the thread is now irrelevant as the Lakers have given Reddick a roster that is completely different in it's construction, but up until that trade, as confirmed by others, Reddick and Ham were on essentially the same W/L trajectory.
