lol I know these highlight reels only show the good parts but man, this video makes him look like young Embiid.

He definitely has a lot to work on lol but I like highlights at times, especially for prospects with sky high ceilings because they show what can be if the work is put in.

I was just playing. I haven't looked at any of the 2nd round prospects, but this guy will definitely be there haha.

For sure, he’d be on my radar with the Portland pick.

More like Zvonimir from last season at Kentucky.

Last season he shot 37.5% from 3 and this year despite erratic PT he's still shooting 43.4% from deep. I wouldn't mind trading the Portland pick for 2 later 2nd rounders.

He reminds me a bit of JT Thor. I just wished he was a better finisher around the basket and played the big man role a little better. Loads of potential though.

However, I'm a bigger fan of his teammate, Miles Byrd. H'es got a role in the league for his defence and motor alone. I see a lot of Dorean Finney-Smith in his game.

I would love to have a player in the mold of this guy as our backup big. I was looking through 2025 UFA's and there's not much in terms of backup stretch bigs.

I’d love to take a flyer on this type of player even if he doesn’t pan out. Masai did it last year with Chomche, so maybe he’s okay trying it again should the opportunity arise. This kid and Chomche would dominate the G-League, and probably cause quite a bit of havoc in the NBA too if they even hit 50% of their max potential.

It's worth a shot to aim for the home run play with these end of 2nd/undrafted guys. I would love to have a floor spacing 5 on this team.

Who in our range would you guys "Not" want to draft?

I'm still iffy on Jak, just a gut feeling, and I can't even imagine drafting Kon Knueppel. I'd be sick.

Knueppel
Maluach

I’ve cooled considerably on Demin.

I hope Raptors pick top 6 at minimum. Any of Flagg, Ace, Harper, VJ, Tre, Jak I could live with.

Maluach

Demin

Newell (statistically jumps off the page but he doesn’t move me for some reason)

Kon
Asa
McNeeley

To have a season like this only to end up with one of those would be deflating af lol even if I think they can be great role players…to tank only to end up with a role player after dreaming of an all star level potential type of prospect would just be a punch to the gut

I am really curious about what you see in Tre Johnson, because we have the same top 5, except my top 5 is rounded out by Derik Queen while you got Tre Johnson.

The problem is that he doesn’t really play like a 5. He’s more Chris Boucher or Mo Gueye than Joel Embid. These Skinny 4s masquerading as 5s with good not great shots are so tricky. At best you get JJJ or Chet Holmgrem, but those two are defensive savants, so more often than not you get JT Thor or Dominic Barlow. Still enticing, but there are better bets with the Portland pick IMO

Think he's been posted on here before but I can't stop watching Jojo Tugler, he has me turning in to every Houston game. Wasn't his best game last night vs Baylor, but he's so disruptive and is the guy opposing coaches try to scheme around. Legitimately one of the most impactful and entertaining defenders I've ever seen on a basketball court.

I think him & Carter Bryant are the two most 'Masai'/Raptors types on the board this year, I'll be shocked if we don't end up with one of them.

He's only 6'7 and can't hit FT's. Is he worse than Mogbo?

Mogbo is more dynamic, but you don't pass on anyone because of Mogbo. This kid would be an option at the Portland pick, and absolutely changes everything defensively. He can guard his man 1 on 1. You hope that development adds a 3 to his game. That's all he needs. He doesn't need to be Kawhi, he just needs to be taller Tony Allen.

Yah, I'd say he's way less skilled offensively than Mogbo. Mogbo's a much better ball-handler, driver and passer and was the offensive hub at San Fransisco last year.

Tugler's offensive game at this point almost doesn't even exist. He's not a creator or a finisher, he pretty much exclusively sets on & off-ball screens and crashes the glass. He reminds me a ton of Herb Jones in the sense his defense is so good that if he learns to be a connective passer (which he's shown pretty solid flashes of) and make a respectable amount of his open threes, he's a 10 year vet and multiple time All-Defense type guy
