Jim Jones' grandson with the And 1 right over Thabeet. San Diego retakes the lead.

San Diego has 5 seconds. Another nail-biter.

Man, San Diego and Western Kentucky. The sound you hear is the overwhelming majority of the people in this country who entered tourny pools tearing 1/4 of the bracket off their sheet and throwing it away as useless.

OK, that is an exaggeration, but still...

Bob Knight just now on ESPN wrote:You can't run an effective pick and roll if your big guy setting the screen can't shoot.

Watching Jim Boylan run pick and roll with Gordon and Ben Wallace on last second plays, this comes as a huge shock to me. Who to believe, Jim Boylan or Bob Knight? :banghead:

Siena well on their way to the most obvious upset pick of the tournament over. They're up 15 on Vanderbilt. Vandy only wins at home.

North Carolina already has 92 points with 8:30 minutes to go in game, and is winning by 40.

The other 3 games going on now are much closer, all within 10 points. But no great games like there were earlier today.

Augustin beat the crap out of Austin Peay today. Just be sure to check him out on Sunday against McClinton and Miami. Today's game was a glorified scrimmage for Texas.

Living in Florida, you would think Miami will be the game they air, so I most definitely will

:banghead: Dang....wish I talked to you before putting them in my sweet 16. Sucks...I've gotten only 5 games wrong (I think so far) in the only bracket I've done...but 4 of those I had going to the 16.

I was wondering what had happened to Michael Sweetney after we cut him loose. I never would have expected him to go back to school and play for the Hoosiers.

You know the great thing about DeAndre Thomas? He actually lost about 100 pounds since high school. Plus he's a Chicago kid. He and JaMarcus Ellis carrying on that Westinghouse legacy.

Yeah, I know, you're right. I don't mean to really be making fun of the kid. Really it was more about taking a swipe at Sweetney and Thomas was just the catalyst I needed.

I really miss making fun of Michael Sweetney.

Yeah, I can empathize. I secretly miss making fun of Ben Wallace.

That's funny, I kinda feel the same way about the president....I never wanted him in office...yet when he leaves...I'm gonna miss laughing at that goof ball.

I picked Clemson in the Final 4 in my brother's "game theory" pool and was feeling pretty good about that oh, say, 40 minutes ago. Villanova back within 5 now. What a turnaround.

This was a bad matchup for both teams in the sense that either one of them could have made a pretty good run through the tourney. I like 'Nova a lot. But only one can survive.
