Somewhat, but not enough to keep trying. I don't think there's enough difference between Robin Lopez and another fa or trade possibility to give up easily on Monroe. Asik, D-Mo, etc.

And in some ways worried Knicks and Lakers haven't landed anyone yet. They may get desperate starting offering Rolo a max.

Landry would be a decent piece off the bench for some team if they can get him for crap.

How in the hell did Shumpert land a 40M dollar deal today? That is almost as absurd as Tristian Thompson landing an 80M dollar deal today.

LeBron GM is going to sink LeBron the player, and David Blatt is the guy that will have to pay for it. That doesn't even factor in Love, but I think they could flip him pretty quick to someone by the trade deadline if it isn't working out in CLE.

The argument we need a low post scoring C when all 4 of our young guys plays in the post is stupid. Average NBA player, max contract, terrible fit. **** sucks when Hammonds has money to spend.

There really isn't a single player on our roster that you can consistently run offense through on the post. All 4 of our young guys can occasionally exploit mismatches down low but they are far from "post players". Our best low post scorer right now is probably Henson and he has all of one move...

Let them offer it then. It's not make or break that we have to get a center.

It is funny how the words "significant inroads" have led so many Bucks fans into believing Monroe is coming to Milwaukee....only to see big Roy eventually lumbering in.

Would he make this team better? Yup.

Could you replace him with David Lee and be equally as good? More likely than not.

Sometimes you really exaggerate don't you? You used to say the same thing about Bayless and Knight. Not that I don't agree Monroe isn't worth the pay day he is set to get but he would improve our team no doubt. David Lee would be a back up 4 while Monroe would start at center. Monroe may put up some empty stats but he would help us this year no doubt. But for the max his help isn't worth it.
Bucks fandom bringing me happiness still seems like a dream.

Guys I've decided I want Greg Monroe. Nice offensive option and can develop to at least a smart Zaza type defensive big.

Good move for Philly. They needed to hit the cap floor and get a good prospect. I still like Sauce
