If Dame leaves, then he'll be one for them to keep.
If Dame and CJ stay, they need to pay Anfernee 2 years sooner than Josh Green.
It resets a rookie contract and gives them a defensive SG-SF to use with Dame, CJ, Norman.
Anyway, there are many players between 20-25 in the league who the Mavs should be scouting for fit/growth.
They need to work on getting the next Mikal Bridges before their value blows up.
A few years ago, the Suns had Bridges, TJ Warren, Oubre and Josh Jackson on their roster as SF depth.
And they didn't know who they wanted to go with, so Bridges could have been gotten for cheap.
There are opportunities like this all the time... Anfernee and Reddish are two that stand out.
Dejounte Murray is another who may be surplus to requirements at the Spurs, but who will cost more.
Even though he's not a great 3PT shooter, I like that he defends well for a play-maker.
