I'll pick Nashville to win the cup. Elite goaltending and a very good D core are so important in the playoffs.

Congrats to the Caps for knocking off the defending champs.

Holtby's a rock, and ovechkin barley played. If they figure what's happening there with him they could go far.

Sucks as I wanted to see them re-peat, but can't blame their effort. Just need to finally fix the power play.

The year of hockey upsets. Go Kings!

Also, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that that was the first time a black guy ever scored a game 7 OT winner in the NHL lol

Gritty series, was fun to watch.

Mike Grier? Iginla?

Anyways, sucks that the Bruins lost, they are a better team but Holtby was a rock and the Caps played some really serious defense in this series, hats off to them for that. Who would have guessed the Bruins, Wings, Sharks, Canucks, Hawks would all be sent home in the first round? And potentially the Rangers (gawd I hope not)?

Now that the Bruins are out, hard to say who I want to win. A Florida/Nashville final would be interesting but not garner many viewers I'm sure. As long as the Flyers don't win the Cup, any team left is fine by me. The West is going to be fun to watch.

I love your optimism but I don't see that happening at all.

Yep, I followed it my whole life and gave it up this year when my team got a top 3 pick. I go to school 6 days a week full time and work 5 days a week. I haven't been on RealGM at all since about August.

The OTT-NYR Game 7 was my favorite game of the playoffs so far. Ottawa's last 5 minutes push was insane.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Overtime in Game 7 is a helluva way to wrap up the first round.

Best thing to watch in all of TV in my opinion. Better than the Super Bowl.

This is the most intense overtime maybe of the postseason.

OK actually went back and did some research back until 1990 and couldn't find another in game 7. I did find that Byfuglien and Anton Carter scored playoff overtime goals, but not in game 7s.

For the record, I am taking Philly-Washington and LA-Nashville in the Conference Semis.
