How does the level of bigotry in one religion justify the bigotry in others? Whatever they do in Islam does not make what the bible preaches, or how homosexuals in general are viewed among Christians an "ok" thing.

I was born and raised catholic so I can speak for what I know...Christianity does NOT advocate the elimination of ANYONE, nor does it advocate even the slightest hardship being placed upon someone who is different from you.

I will state simply that Homosexuals and minorities are FAR FAR FAR better off in a christian society than an Islamic society, yet, I see nothing about that because I suppose no one here would dare to offend someone who isn't Christian.

Again, that doesn't justify what states in the bible, or the hate that christians preach towards homosexuals. Just because I kick a dog but you only spit on him doesn't make you a nice guy because what I did was more harmful.

If gays are really born that way, then yes, it is a malfunction. Males reproductive systems evolved specifically to procreate with females. This is a scientific fact. If a gay is behaving like a woman, and wants males instead of women, then obviously there was a genetic defect with that person. It's probably linked to the brain and hormones, working incorrectly.

So if I get off on a girl jacking me, sucking me, or letting me do her in the ass, there is something wrong with me? None of those things have anything to do with procreation.

Unless there's a pre-determined hormone of some sort which can genetically pre-dispose you to being straight or gay and somehow.. let's say malfunctions and you get the bi-sexual orientation. Did you not remember growing up with children who were very "flamboyant" always hung out with the girls and generally acted like a female? I know I remember growing up with one in and since the 1st grade. If homosexuality isn't something you're born with then it's something that is nurtured through environmental influences in child development, which means you have no control over it. You don't voluntarily find people attractive, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

You DON'T choose sexuality.

The flamboyant character makes a conscious decision to hang out around the girls, It doesn't always have to start from the child nurturing stages.

Are you talking about bisexuality? That's different. Although I still won't accept the discrimination people are showing. If that man prefers men then what harm comes from it? If he loves another man and has an emotional attachment that he doesn't or can't have with anyone else, man or woman, he should be allowed to marry that person. He shouldn't have to choose to not have that relationship just because people like you think it's wrong and live his life without the person they love.

My opinion is that this is similar (not the same) as the African-American civil rights dilemma that the past century has dealt with. To me these are the same sort of ignorant-minded people denying rights to people that in the next century people will look back on and feel the same sort of guilt and shame I felt when I read about the discrimination before and after the African-American Civil Rights era.
