Derrick Rose just needs to be assured that he doesn't need to come in and be "Derrick Rose." He needs to come in and be a rusty player who is better than a rookie Marquis Teague.

If Thibs can come out and announce that - set the expectations appropriately - that will give Rose cover the mental stuff that I am sure is going on in his head - that he's still not the same player that he was before the injury. That can only come with more time.

But people should remember that Jordan missed the playoffs during a run early in his career, too, due to injury (where he concievably could have played).

Can anyone update us w/ info regarding the current playoff series & Kirk?

Kirk is getting another MRI on his leg tomorrow when the team is back in Chicago. He's still day-to-day in terms of playing in this series
