Nah his explanation makes sense, he roots for them because he lives there and they are in a different conference than his favorite team.

You just rooted for them because you hate Romo.

(Which is highly illogical because any sane or insane Pats fans would root against the Giants in pretty much any given scenario due to the past decade)

I understand that MVPs are chosen in a vote against their peers, but that doesn't mean the best player always wins. It means that the "most valuable" player does.
