listened to a Peter Rosenberg podcast with them (the part of the group which now tours as Bizarre Ride, that's Fatlip, Slimkid3, the producer of the first album turn crack addict J-Swift and L.A. Jay, who produced this gem...Imani and Bootie Brown are called The Pharcyde and both sides are having legal fights) and Slimkid3 actually told that there's a real ex-girlfriend he once had and a real story behind this song. some good inside stuff.

Been really into Sylvan Esso lately, cool group out of Durham, NC. Kind of Feist meets Purity Ring. MasterIchiro and Liver Pooty, they're playing a few shows in your neck of the woods over the next couple weeks, you should check them out.
