On Neymar's first the keeper could have been given the benefit of the doubt because it came off the post, but this one was just as timid a shot and even closer to him.

Really poor keeping. It was well struck but there's no way he should have been beaten near post off the right foot considering the ball didn't have that much pace.

i dont see how. brazil get a penalty from a flop and then score a third in injury time on the counter.

The keeper fell asleep. I wonder what this game would look like if it were still 1-1. Brutal officiating. I feel bad for croatia

Oscar putting the finishing touch.

Croatias goal keeper isn't that good.

Over 60% possession.
6 shots on target versus Croatia's 3.
Croatia's goal was an own goal.
Croatia were poor in the attacking third.

The penalty was a farce, but you can hardly argue the result.

Yeah because falling down on purpose is equivalent to ruining someone's life by selling them heroin? Ok

Weird opening match. Looking forward to tomorrow

possession doesnt mean anything when you dont do anything with it and constantly give it away.

brazil was equally poor in the attacking third.

brazil looked like the worse team in the 2nd half before the penalty.

i think the result deserved to be a draw based on both teams play but i wouldnt argue further.

Oscar was the man of the match for me, even without that last goal. That was just the cherry on top.

Exageration to prove a point. I'm sorry that i wasn't aware that you wouldn't be cappable of understanding that.

Every game should become a flop fest because "its ok and its part of the game"

Those stats don´t show what really happened during the game. First minutes of Croatian dominion, after that a nice 1st time by Brazil, but not deserving another goal sincer they didn´t reach with real danger in any chance.

And the second half (from the minute 55 and on) was dominated by Croatia till the penalty, and even after that they still tried to score another goal...so if i were a Brazilian fan I wouldn´t be very happy with the result

Croatia just got robbed. That was never a penalty and all night Brazil was going down so easily and getting rewarded for it, what a farce.

I feel bad for them.

Money Fraud would be a more apt comparison- Cheating others of what's right. Nothing about it that should be accepted as just "part of the sport".

Brazil were admittedly the better side in the final 3rd, mostly because Julio Cesar didn't make mistakes the way the Croatian keeper did, but it's not like the penalty didn't have any effect on the game.

They were gifted a goal, the game seemed headed for a draw, how can you not argue the result.
