This kid is 19 years old, he has many years of NBA basketball ahead of him, he is not even comfortable yet. When this kid matures man he is gonna be something really good. He has what many young players do not have: great instincts, smarts, and desire. Case in point, Harkless. Tremendous physical attributes but questionable will power and without a doubt poor instincts. Harkless still doesn't understand how to play basketball. AG has it, he gets it. He has a feel for the game you can't teach.

Wingspan dont matter as much as standing reach though.

Very true! Forgot to mention that. Winslow and AG have both been measured to have a standing reach of 8'9 :D

Cool avi btw, how'd you get it? Whenever I end up getting an avi, it'll hopefully look something like that

I'm not doubting you, but I don't understand how that could be possible. 6'9" guy with a 6'11" WS has the same standing reach as a 6'6" and a 6'10" WS. I mean where are those 4 inches coming from? Are his shoulders 4 inches higher than Aaron's?

Edit: I'm going to adjust some numbers here. First, Aaron was 6'7.75 with a 6'11.75" WS (so better on one, worse on the other). Justise's numbers were correct (all numbers coming from draft express). Second, the only standing reach I could find for JW was from the Nike Hoop Summit last year and it was 8'7".

You don't like elite defenders?

With loads of potential that make great passes and electrifying dunks?

It is possible that Aaron has a longer leg/larger head.

I think gordon will be the better player long-term but is is waaaay too soon to judge exum and how he compares to AG. Neither one had a stellar rookie season.

This is true. Exum leaves Utah first chance he gets. I still believe this.

Look Gordon and Payton are going to be the Magic's best Duo of all time. (Over Penny/Shaq)

We just have to deal with it. Im pissed off too trust me.

Sure they will probably win a Championship or 2 but honestly
I would rather not root for a kid with a Goofy-Ass Haircut and a kid who chose to buy a Jaguar when he can afford to buy any car in the whole damn world.
Sure we all hate them for that but we are just going to hold our tongues and not say a word.

Well if there was ever an appropriate reason to buy a Jag it is when you've got more money than sense. But an XJ? Ew, and matte black? No imagination. Hope he bought that extended warranty.

So let me ask you guys this. It's a big summer in the decision of us keeping Tobias Harris or not. If he comes at an expensive price, do we let him go (or S&T) and let Gordon take the reigns?

How easy of a decision is that for some of you guys?

The people that want Gordon to take a major starting role and want Harris gone better not expect any progress towards the playoffs anytime soon. Gordon is way too raw right now. Vuc and Oladipo can't carry a decent offense by themselves. A starting offense of Payton/Oladipo/Gordon/whoever we already have or draft/Vucevic will struggle to reach 80 every night.

This signature! It should be legit!

I'm really a Gordon biased dude. Anything that benefits Gordon on this team I'm willing and for it

Thanks man! I drew it up a long time ago, and had a friend digitize it for me. I think Magic Madness actually created the signature too!

It'd be really interesting to see him in the SL as our PF, I do feel we would struggle mightily to score though. It all depends on what kind of leaps he makes this off season. If we don't make the playoffs next year, it'd be a big disappointment to me. I want us in the post season, no more Top 5 draft picks!

AG is better than Harris at EVERYTHING except for shooting the ball. Get sweet shooting SGs and PFs and you're set.

Harris is better. I'll take an above average scorer and average defender over an above average defender and abysmal scorer. Think of it this way, a B plus a C averages out higher than the average of a B plus an F.

Harris is a better scorer, post player, better handling in traffic, spot up shooter and hes thicker. Gordon has him on individual defense and thats about it.
