Consider my awesome custom Wolves logo changed out as well for the Flip badge. I wish I could buy a KG jersey with that patch on it.

A couple of really good podcasts featuring local media telling some of their favorite Flip stories/memories

Re: Flip Saunders passes away (pg 5)
Talked to my brother yesterday. In the 90's my dad was head of security at the Target Center. My brother was telling me how Flip knew my dad by name. After games sometimes my brother would be with my dad getting something to eat or something and Flip would be in the restaurant and call my dad and my brother over to come sit with him and eat. My brother couldn't believe he was sitting there eating with Flip and the people with him like Doc Rivers. Flip was just that casual and cool about it, inviting people that worked there like my dad to eat and talk Minnesota sports with him and his people.
I thought that was a cool story and I also thought WTF did I never hear about that until today? Lol. Next time I talk to my dad I will ask him what he remembers about Flip. I got a couple of good Sam Mitchel stories though haha.

When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Magoose wrote:Usually I'm like "i don't know them personally so I don't take it personally". This, for the reasons described above, feels different. When I read the comment from Starbury and saw the picture of KG I had tears in my eyes.
The fact that he seemed like a very likeable guy and someone who really cared about his players and treated them like he was a father to them is what makes it even harder for me.
Still in grief and disbelief.
This is pretty much how I've felt. Whenever a celebrity/sports/star dies I'm a bit shocked but my life pretty much goes on unaffected. With Flip, it's completely different. I was watching the Timbertrolls tribute last night and teared up again.

RIP Philip Daniel "Flip" Saunders! You were taken from us way to soon but will never be forgotten...

AUGUST ALSINA "SONG CRY"
What am I supposed to do?
Hold it all together when I think of you?
In my heart I'm thinking you were gone too soon
May you rest in peace, yet I can't sleep
It's my point of view
Got me in a state of mind, I'm so confused
Crying raindrops so that I can bloom
So what am I to do?

Re: Flip Saunders passes away (pg 5)
Kind of weird McHale wasn't there although I understand their relationship was hot-cold over the years. You knew Adelman with his son on the staff would be there. And of course Flips coaching legacy with the 3 head coaches from his tree of Wittman, Hoiberg and Sam.
