Both the warriors, cavs and rockets have gone through similar rough patches.

We all agree that this is the worst stretch of basketball we’ve played right? We’re 6-4 right? With multiple players hitting cold streaks right? And yet we haven't got blown out in any of those 4 loses. What does that tell you?

Look at our SRS and the SRS of past elite teams. We are right there in the mix of it. And in the past the only teams to have made it that far with non-elite SRS are LeBron lead teams.

Stupid argument. We've played amazing for literally 90% of the season. So it's not a matter of us just starting well, we continued it most of the season.

I think Our medicore play the last 2 weeks of the season has a lot to do with fatigue/schedule. We've played a lot of games since the all-star break, with many back-to-backs sprinked in.

Yeah I considered that but considering we play none other than the Celtics after the Cavs game, I'm willing to take the risk.

We knock out two birds with one stone by resting key players for the Cavs game and handing them a W to keep them in the 3rd seed. And having the players rest up for a must W at home the next day.

Not to mention, we save some face by losing to the Cavs if we rest some key players. Wont be as obnoxious as last time

A lot of players cruise on defense during the regular season....making it far easier to score.
Several players have scored 63 in a regular season game, whereas in the playoffs only MJ has.

I see basketball analysts repeatedly mentioning what someone averaged last season, while never referring to last year's playoff stats, despite the fact that playoff basketball separates good from great (at least in my opinion, but seemingly not according to others).
And LeBron's consecutive games scoring double-digits, while no mention of who holds the record if playoff games (aka when the real games begin) are included....

BTW if a great scorer has a really bad scoring game in the playoffs, it can END the season for a team, while if someone has a quiet regular season game its essentially meaningless.

Derozan and Lowry only wish people would ignore playoff stats...

We need to focus on winning every game possible. Trying to tank games to get certain playoff matchups rarely works out. Focus on wrapping up the 1st seed as soon as possible. We get who we get in the playoffs. If we're worrying about certain playoff opponents in the first or second round, then we got no right to take ourselves seriously as contenders.

That being said, I really hope we can avoid the Wizards in the first round and save the Cavs until the ECF.
