Didn't Book end up with Ben's sloppy seconds? That tells you all you need to know about who's the bigger star!

If it were me, I don't do the deal straight up (I would need at least one more asset from them, Oubre would also a nice addition) but I would do the deal if they met the general terms. I believe Simmons will show up without a jump shot again and Booker IMO fits so much better with Embiid.

That's absurd. Simmons is not a bigger name than Booker, especially in Phoenix. There's a reason why the 76ers fans are overall much more interested in a Simmons for Booker swap than the Suns fans.

Definitely the much bigger name and talent. More globally recognized, plays in a much bigger market that has garners more national coverage than Phoenix. Has nearly double Bookers ig followers, over 200k more twitter followers, more decorated professionally. Was Lebron's protégé coming out of college and gets shouted out by him all the time. Booker is pretty much only known for being the guy to drop 70 and lose. Also you're on this board snooping. Says enough

Oh, that's too bad. I guess the Suns are stuck with Booker. Maybe the Sixers could trade Simmons for Lonzo who has twice as many IG followers as Ben.

Not sure fanbase reaction is that good of a barometer when one of those fanbases is notoriously hypercritical of their local athletes. If scenarios were flipped and Booker was the star of a team that had yet to make the playoffs in his 5 years he'd be getting ripped to shreds for it (fair or not).

Sixers Trade: Al Horford, Josh Richardson, 21, and 34
Cavs Trade: Kevin Love, Cedi Osman, 5

Cavs get a better cap situation. Horford is owed less than Love, Richardson is expiring while Osman has 3 years left.
Sixers get better roster fits, and a better draft pick.

I think Love would struggle to stay on the floor defensively with our team. I’d rather keep Horford and move him later. I can’t even name five players in this draft, so I’m not really capable of assigning value to the pick.

Looks nice but the second one won't work from financial and nets view.

Just noticed that Hields contract is front loaded, which makes it even better to trade for him. The last year is only worth 18m compared to 24m next season.

Hard pass from POR.

POR is not downgrading CJ into lesser talent.

Works financially, not sure they’d accept though.

What do you guys think of this trade idea?

Don't think Rubio should be someone we are interested in

If Harden asks to be traded, and it becomes public knowledge...

Does Houston even try to accommodate a destination of his choice?

If he says BKN, MIA or PHI, who has the best offer?

Can Philly get it done with Tobias and pieces? Or is it Ben or no deal?

Morey needs to make it happen without including Ben or Jo. That's why we got him, to make something like this happen. Tamper with Harden so he sabotages his value, or whatever you have to do.

I envision the deal should be like when the Sixers traded Charles Barkley to the Suns back in the day. Barkley was a 6 time straight all-star and was a bit younger at age 29, and a borderline MVP type player.

The return was underwhelming. Jeff Hornacek, Andrew Lang, and Tim Perry.

It's time for us to be on the other end of a deal like that.

You can't get Harden for one of the worst contracts in the league, just not gonna happen.

Harden can sabotage his value all he wants, but there will be many teams offering more than Harris and some late firsts.

Correct, but there’s a world where we take on Gordon as well(absolutely was terrible last year 4 years left), horford and Westbrook go to New York, a bunch of NY expirings go to Houston and maybe a future first or even next years first from New York, and then we give Houston josh, shake, Matisse, okc first this year, 3 future firsts, and 3 pick swaps. Houston gets 4 firsts, 3 swaps, and cleans all future money but covs 12 mil off the books.

Sixers get: harden, Gordon

Knicks get: Westbrook, horford, and mike Scott. Hell I’d throw them a couple 2nds too

Rockets get: randle, portis, Ellington, smith, Richardson, Matisse, shake, okc 20, philly 2022, philly 2024, philly 2026, pick swaps with philly in 2021, 2023, and 2025, and the knicks 2021 top 3 protected. There are GMs out there who wouldn’t hate that. You guys underrate how attractive it is to some guys to be able to completely paint their own portrait
