This is going to be a Kobe-esque situation where any team that gives up enough to get Durant will be gutted and Durant won't want to play there.

Brooklyn said they don't care about Durant's list, but that's just for PR. If KD says he'll just sit out, the other team won't be giving up their all-stars for him.

KD is in control. If he doesn’t want to go to a team, they won’t trade for him. He also likely has a NTC.

Phoenix (Ayton), Miami (Bam), and Boston (Jaylen Brown) can offer better packages than us, but we can offer a good enough package that if KD were to be convinced Chicago was the spot then Brooklyn would feel okay.

The idea is going to be to combine Lavine, Derozan, and Durant because that’s just how things go. You load up stars. Package would be Vucevic, Pat Will, Coby, Dalen Terry, Portland pick, and future picks/swaps. High(ish) level player, high level prospect, talented flyer, fresh hot draft pick, and some much needed draft capital.

We need Zach Lavine to do for us what Derrick Rose refused to do. He’s gotta be on the phone with our guy Kevin TONIGHT.
