forget using next years cap space on another player.

When we win 65+ games this year, the team is going to have to give the money to the guys we got.

If oubre keeps this up, gotta get him on at least 2 yr deal

Looks like Nurse has been coaching Embiid well and plays a bit better brand of basketball on offense so far. Too bad he is washed up on defense...

Damn you Bamba, ruining that sweet three by Jaden.

Springer is the rare young layer who just needs to control his defensive intensity. Dude is just pressing so hard to make a difference on D that he is fouling and over chasing the ball. I’d like to see him get a game where he plays more minutes and can settle himself into a rhythm.

Oubre is a gunner and I love that. For too long we have not had that guy who isn’t afraid to shoot, especially off the bench. He won’t always be hot, but that willingness to take or create a shot is necessary.

These minutes make no sense to me...

Melton 21
Beverley 28
Springer 1

Springer should be up around 15. Maxey and Beverley can both play less.
Maxey 36
Melton 23
Beverley 23
Springer 16

That would cover guard minutes for the game, keep from burning out Maxey, and get Springer enough court time to learn what he needs to learn at the NBA level.

Very true, and this was one of the concerns people have had about us. That we'd be able to feast on the bad teams of the league (there are a lot of them), but when competition gets tighter we'd show our true colors. We get Phoenix on Saturday. How that game goes should give us an idea of how good we really are.
