So it sounds like the deal would be Siakam for 3 1st round picks, Brown, Toppin, and one of Jackson / Smith / Nwora / Sheppard. I'd love it if we could get Andrew Nembhard as the 3rd guy, but I don't think Indiana would trade him.

Given the context, that is a solid return for Siakam. I actually really like Bruce Brown, and would enjoy watching him play for the Raptors for however long he's here.

We can’t judge moves in a vacuum. We also have to consider both the short-term and long-term potential impacts, which I’m sure our front office does.

The FO may have had a strong preference for player-based rather than pick-based packages when looking to trade OG and Pascal this year. The fact we got a very good player package for OG could very well mean that the FO is more amenable to a pick-based package for Pascal.

I’m still not sold on Brown and 3 FRPs as being the best Masai can do but time will tell.

This seems more real than the Kings discussion. Details aren't fully known and it/s mostly framework. I don't really want Bruce Brown Jr. unless we can parlay him for assets. Those picks to be honest aren't exactly home runs either.

Pacers are currently on the road for a west coast trip. Masai last we saw was in France doing some scouting work. I'm assuming Bobby is probably working the phones on those specific details like he was with the Kawhi deal.
