Blatche guarding Carmelo again

In all seriousness, Blatche had another decent game though.

We have been CarmellOWNED

:nonono: at the ref calling a foul on AB for putting a finger nail on Carmelo. They want to make sure Denver covers and Carmelo gets 50 pts.

Alright gome over, fire up the Fire EJ grill, and throw on some Trade AJ sauce. I'm mighty hungry. :x

Props to that ref for calling the offensive foul on Carmello. **** you George Karl for leaving all your starters in the game in a **** blowout.

Career high for Nick Young.

That's pretty cool (especially capping it off with that jam).

11 point loss. Not too embarrassing overall. Got to give the guys some props for hanging around considering the circumstances. Without a career game from Carmelo we may have even had a chance to win.

There's a reason why I don't comment during the games. Reading some of these posts are laughable. Wiz had no point guard for 3 quarters and no Caron. Forget Gilbert. We haven't had him all season. I'm glad EJ played Pech, DMac and Young all night. You get to see the good and bad with the rooks. To say EJ shouldn't play this guy over Wood or not play Songaila? WTF? Do you think you can survive by playing 7 or 8 players in the NBA?

Pech is a joke on offense right now. I said this a few weeks ago that he's allergic to the paint. That Knicks game where he hit all those 3s got everybody excited about his potential and he's made ony a few since then. How about going inside occasionally and using your 7-foot frame? Kid has a long ways to go in terms of getting more strength, but I think he'll be ok. At least he rebounds. Dmac would look great on the Suns. I swear he's still getting used to playing small forward because in college, he was mainly a four-man. His perimeter defense needs a lot of work. Just because you can block shots in college, doesn't mean that translates over here. Also shows you what the Summer League means.

But I'm glad these guys are getting playing time. They aren't going to get better on the bench. You can blame EJ for not playing the starters late, but who cares? Why play Haywood when Camby isn't in the game? Give these guys some rest. I'm looking at these games now as judging individuals off the bench to see if they can help later on. If we get a win in the process, great, but right now, we don't have the talent or experience. I mean Blatche looks like an All-Star on one play and a high school player when he tries to make a foolish pass or drive. How can you win with such little margin for error, when you have to depend on a guy like that? Or Mason, who is shooting like one?

I would say until Butler returns, have fun watching the young guys, don't worry about the record and keep expectations low.

CCJ...I love your optimism. The run the Wizards made kept me up until halftime but I still have no grand illusions the Wizards are going to win this one. Although I think the Wiz moved the ball better in the second quarter, I think the Wiz run was more to do with Denver getting bored. Enjoy your movie, I'm going to enjoy watching my eyelids.

The just-before-DVD showing locally of National Treasure put my 7 and 5 year boys out before large popcorn was 1/4 eaten. The 11-yr old said it was "Okay, I guess".

Caught the TiVo after the movie of the 11-point loss.

The game was about like the movie. Okay, I guess.

I like Nick's throwdown at the end.

I've never seen a defense so helpless against Carmelo. Darius isn't even agile enough to give a good foul.

The game showed Jamison's no superstar, because you'd at least hope he could match intensity by playing defense on Carmelo..

The positives: Blatche, Young, McGuire, Songaila, and for the most part Mason. Best offensively Songaila's looked all season. Career high for no-pass Young.

Also, for EJ haters, that's six losses in a row in a streak I think could double. The Wizards could fall out of the playoffs at this pace.
