The Knicks where getting away with murder on defense. Its clear who the NBA/refs want to win.

Rooting for the Pacers, but it's going to be tough winning 8 vs 5 in a series.

The "foul" on OG where he completely flubbed a wide open pass and then when he grabbed the loose ball in the air got cleanly packed by Siakam, got the call for some reason, but then had the call correctly overturned upon slow motion video replay?

Yeah. If Knicks fans want to complain about the goaltend then sure, I do get that, but that foul was correctly overturned.

I've seen it firsthand watching MANY Pacers/Bucks games. I respect the hell out of him, but he's a motor mouth to a cartoonish degree when the going is good.

Give him a big moment and he'll kill you, though. No doubt about it.

I like Hailburton as a player and he seems like a really good guy but holy hell is he annoying on the court, makes me root hard for the Knicks. Guy is throwing up the choke hold after hitting a lucky shot that tied the game. Par for the course with Hali

I mean, he got a good bounce, but Haliburton is a super clutch player and that shot wasn’t that difficult overall, so I don’t know I’d say lucky overall, you could argue the Knicks were lucky he didn’t swish it haha.

I don’t understand the Haliburton hate…I mean, I get that I am biased, but why is playing with passion a bad thing? The dude is a menace with trash talk on the court, but pure class outside of battle. Shouldn’t we be wanting more of that?

Carlisle absolutely has balls of steel.

His in-game adjustmens worked like a charm as well. To bring Ben Sheppard in the game for the first time in the 4th quarter and then to go small against New York's big lineup were two adjustments that worked way better than expected.

I felt Sheppard was better than Mathurin

He was. He made a heck of a pass under pressure to Nesmith for one of his 3s.

Mathurin is talented but I swear every time I watch him play he is doing something bone-headed. Sheppard showed why he was out there over him.

Unbelievable game. Nesmith was tar and feathered for his blunders in the 4th quarter by the fans. He then rose up from that tar pit to soar like an eagle on an offensive attack that was second to none. What a friggin win by Indiana! Haliburton is a great leader for this team and came up clutch to push overtime. I think this is going to be a hell of a series.

Cardiac Pacers! Big to steal one in the Garden. Even better the Knicks short rotation had to play extra minutes tonight. I still think the Knicks are the better team but now there a good chance we have a helluva series and I think the deeper it goes the more the Indiana depth can pay off.

That was huge. Now we probably have to go the distance if we're gonna take this. That was some crazy shot making and a wild choke on our part. Until next time.

Not sure if the shot making was crazy or the fact the Pacers got some defensive rebounds down the stretch was more surprising/big. I’m sure there is a blowout or 2 coming, but the series should be entertaining. I’m going to lose my Pacers fan card but the Knicks have always been my 2nd favorite team so whoever wins I’ll be pulling for in the next round.

Props to the Pacers.

Took a historic shooting performance from Nesmith to make the crazy comeback. That wouldn't happen again if they ran it in a simulator 100 times. 1 out of 100 performance. Props to him though.

Hopefully it's a sign that the Knicks will be alright and handle business if it took that kind of performance for the Pacers to be able to come back and win.

You’re not wrong. But Knicks were also in the position because of their bench. [u]3 of the starters were negative +/-[/u] and Brunson was a team worst -11 with a >minute to go. Can we count on the Knicks bench to perform like that again? Will Thibs even give them the opportunity?

Thats actually been pretty typical. Mitch has been carrying the difference in +/- off the bench in super close games.
