I really hate this type of logic. The Cavs are a vastly superior team this year then they were last year. Last year is irrelevant....

Me too. Didn't the Spurs win every other year in a 5 year span? So, uh, wouldn't that mean that logic is busted? And pretty sure the Lakers got manhandled in the Finals and went on to win it the next year.

only way i'd root boston is if they somehow managed to win 3 in a row against a healthy cleveland team. in that case, i'd "root" for them to complete the sweep for entertainment purposes alone.

barring that highly unlikely scenario, i won't be rooting for either team so much as i'll be rooting for a long, drawn-out, physical series.

I had this argument the other day. Which person would freak you out the most if you saw him/her in real life? And I had to go with the guy who plays Jacob on Lost. Especially if it were at an airport. Very off topic, but your avy reminded me of it.

I want Shelden "Landlord" Williams to play this series. He will be the no easy buckets enforcer for Boston!

Is the NBA for real? 4 days rest in between games 2 and 3? (May 3-7) :nonono:

LeBron needs time to rest his "injured" shoulder.

Wouldn't it be better to rest it BEFORE the series?

But what if the Bucks and Hawks go seven? Wouldn't they kinda want to let the Orl vs ATL/MIL series catch up?

As long as it goes to game seven I could care less who wins, We will be rested and ready for either. But If I had to chose I would like the C's to humble the LeQueen and then us teach the C's a lesson or two or FOUR.

This would be a good thread for the NBA main board. I doubt they would let it stay there though.

Broken record. Heard the same thing last year and probably next year too.

The difference between last year and this year is that the Cavs actually are a vastly superior team. Hindsight is 20/20 and the Magic team that beat the Cavs was a much better team.

I'm going for Boston.

I want to see a rematch of the Lakers/Celtics for revenge purposes -- although I do believe the Cavs can take the Lakers in the Finals (assuming they can even get there).

The Celtics beat arguably the worst playoff team that made it in the Heat. So I wouldn't be so optimistic. You are only setting yourself for that terrible feeling of being down 0-2 in a few days.
