Craft is like a Kirk Hinrich, without the shooting touch.

I'm sure now everyone is going to hang on to this comparison lmao but whatever

I rather he watches Kobe's clips! But well body control wise yes, but that's all the comparison I see :o

I know this might sound stupid but I wouldn't...cuz I rather him watch someone who became excellent at the sport that moves and operates closer to the way he does so the path seems clearer. Kobe trying to learn off Jordan made a lot of sense cuz physically and even the way the moved was very similar.

For example, sure I would want Bayless to be more like Chris Paul but in reality the way he does things looks a lot more like Chauncey Billups to me. So instead of him studying Paul, hoping to build that into his own style which I just think is too hard to change at this point of his life....why not mimic the behaviour of someone with more similarities to your style?!? I think the odds of becoming great are much higher and likely that way.

Well I did remember Kobe in an interview talking about how he mimic alot of Jordan and Penny...and I don't know but alot of players coming into the league studying others, I remember John Wall saying he watched the Lakers playoff, watching how Kobe utilizes those jab step moves and stuff...it is a great idea if Barnes learn and mimic Brandon Roy but I rather he mimic Paul Pierce especially they're in similar size with average athleticism, oh somehow this whole thing reminds me of Demar mimicking alot of Kobe's moves too 8-) For Bayless, for beginners, lol I think its best to have him to mimic Jose's point guard skills first  then go into a bigger picture (paul lol)

Demar should model his game after Pierce instead of Kobe.

Problem is I see zero Pierce in Barnes, from body control, ballhandling etc...

As usual I do see a pretty obvious similarity to Granger:

But if he really worked extra hard on his handles with his average athleticism I believe at his "potential" he could be a larger Brandon Roy but that would take a lot of work but would also be A LOT better then a thicker Danny Granger.

Perry Jones III is the pick for me. Nothing against Drummond but I think Jones has the right make-up upside and star potential the Raps need. While it was only one game the fact is he looks much stronger and explosive than last year and add to the fact he has had already one season of College ball makes me think he will be the perfect fit. He won't be so raw as a one and done and he has a natural smoothness to his game that should make him a top wing.

Myck led Texas tonight with 16pts (3/4 FG, 2/2 3PT)/7asts/4rebs. He has really demonstrated an excellent ability to get to the line so far this season, going 8-10 tonight.

Well I mean Pierce is the polish version of what I hope barnes would become but well in terms of size with shooting touch and average athleticism they are similar. I see Granger as a straight line driver..., Barnes do that too, although not the quick pull up trigger like Granger but he'll have better jabstep/pivot/triplethreat moves than Granger will ever have (if he has any)...but it is pretty much consensus that Barnes is a clone of Deng and Granger combined.

This has probably been discussed- but I just watched OHS for the first time this year.

Sullinger looks like a different person. Must be 30lbs lighter?

One would thing it would improve his athleticism.......but he still can't jump!

That scares me.

Sullinger looks like he might turn out to be a Paul Millsap type of player. Yeah, he's going to be solid, but I don't see him really being a star at the next level.

Pretty much. Still, Jones has to have a good game against a weak team or his draft stock will really suffer.

I do have one thing to say about Prairie View: Any team with a guard named Montreal Scott (from Dallas) really deserves a soft spot in our hearts

lol But Anthony Davis had like 3 points when Kentucky dominated Penn State and he's still a top 2 pick!

Maybe that speaks for the talent level on Kentucky?!?! They have an Elite team. Could be best in years.

@spade57. That was the point I was trying to get across. Just cause your stats don't look incredible doesn't mean the scouts will forget about you.
