It's always the same thing with Jrich. He gets his baskets in the flow of the offense in the first quarter and then his scoring disappears.

Stan needs to continue to utilize him through out the whole game.

i love that we had that good end to the half but do any of you guys wonder why jrich keeps on doing that? i've seen him start so hot so many times and i'm thinking this is his gonna be his breakout game this year - all of a sudden, he disappears!

any of you guys think its his conditioning? for his age, he certainly looks fit but he does seem to tire rather easily. like he can't go at the same pace the whole game?

I wouldn't mind if Nelson came off the bench for us. But we need a better starting point guard for sure.

See, it depends on the deal. If we're talking about Nash, then yes, of course. If we're talking about other mediocre PG's that aren't better playmakers than Hedo, then no.

I never got the sense that Duhon is in shape... His body looked chubby for a while. I'm sure sitting all last year didn't help.

Yeah, I noticed this as well. The problem with J-Rich is the fact that he doesn't really get involved in the offense. He's relegated to spot-up shooter role and gets very few touches in the post.

If we're not maximizing his touches with the first unit, SVG should pull him 6-7 minutes into the game and have him start the second quarter so he could be the focal point of the second unit.

How about using JRich as a sixth man with a lot of minutes?

i was going to say this. that way, when he comes in, he can dominate the 2nd unit.
slight adjustment really but it also gives us a look at a different lineup while at the same time, freeing up jj to start and unclog the paint more for dwight.
