And the team has changed, we just don't know how. We lost Anderson, and drafted Nicholson. I've seen enough of him now to say he has a chance to be special. And if he turns heads, especially Dwight's, then a lot can be changed.
You seriously think a rookie playing in a couple summer league games has the potential to change his mind? You think he's going to chance his future on this guy?
Good god man
Plus losing Ryno is a negative to team perception, not a positive

Like if he tells Orl that he is strongly considering staying and he wants to see how the season starts or something just until jan. then he asks for a trade again? Possibility or is he definitely gone before the season starts?

I could see Dwights Rehab lasting long enough until he gets his trade request filled. Then, he will become all of a sudden healthy for his new team.

So Houston and Lakers step back a bit, as there are no other suitors for now. But if it is true and Howard maintains he won't extend with them, I don't see why Lakers would trade away pieces of possibly a championship team without confirmation that Howard will sign. Houston might be willing to take the chance - what do they really have to lose? In either case, Hennigan has completely lost all leverage. Which is why he now is crawling back to Howard and asking him to stay. I doubt that the Nets are offering much come Jan. Hennigan should have taken the best offer available, the offers will only get worse from hereon.

You really think he's going to walk out in front of 20,000 booing fans at Amway while still wanting out? PR disaster for all.
