Breen is good, but you're nuts if you don't see him criticizing the Knicks over little **** on a national broadcast while just calling the game for the opposing team. I don't want a homer, I just want a neutral announcer. No need for the snide remarks.

Meanwhile most of us are saying the same things and probably being much harder on the team at home/on this forum. So if anything it shows he cares more. When my dad watches the Yankees or his Fordham Rams (Breen's school coincidentally) he spends most of the game yelling about everything, and then when the team does something good he goes quiet . IDK why many fans do this but believe me it doesnt mean hes rooting for the other team AT ALL. Maybe Breen has to be a little better at covering this up if hes going to announce (even though Ive never had an issue with him) but hes basically acting the same way as many of us. All fans act different.

But hes a huge fan. its hard. Im sure you wouldnt have a problem if he was a "homer". You got people in here accusing him of actually rooting for the other team, meanwhile hes probably just freaking out the Knicks are blowing a 26 point lead lol.

It really is a non issue to me. I mean Spero is okay and pretty neutral but hes boring as hell. Hes almost too polished that hes just generic.

Posters calling for Kevin Harlan as if he wouldnt have been busting loads all over the court during that Celtic run.

They're good, Jeff is more of a Sideshow BOB type imo.

you need one color commentator and one play-by-play, so hubie and JVG can't both work it. someone has to call the game.

i really made a point to listen to breen this game... (i'm usually barely paying attention to the announcers unless they're yelling)

i take back defending him as being objective or a ref/nba announcer.

he really is one sided. a lot of knick compliments are backhanded. the knicks never get the benefit of doubt with him (going into replays.)
