The fact management is even showing interest in acquiring Asik is a bit discouraging for the TWO to say the least. IMO that really shows the desire to compete, not tank.

Which confirms multiple reports that we wanted to create a team this year that can make the Playoffs (and supposedly sustain it) and that Leweike believed that Masai could create a blockbuster trade for an all-star talent. We aren't tanking for sh*t, so sick of this dumb franchise but let's see at the big "20 game" mark. I fully expect to be disappointed as usual.

Not if we trade the only player that Houston probably wants - Amir. That's totally a tank move.

This should be the TWO-test: if you're a true tanker you should be more than willing to send Amir off to greener pastures.

Definitely. If we're interested in asik it means we have no desire to tank. However, arguably, our team has looked pretty good (we've outscored the opposition this season), even with rudy and derozan bricking everything. That' doesn't mean things couldn't change if we go 2-12 or something. I don't think nba GMs are ever too inclined to tank with a team that seems like it might make the playoffs in the middle of the season anyhow...but if we go on a big losing streak SOON, it might happen. Just my flawed, opinion.

My God is Amir's effect being overrated.

Love the guy but you're making like he's a franchise player lol or some major cornerstone....he's a great hustle/role player but how much wins and losses do you think his departure would create? Keeping in mind we are getting Asik back in that proposed deal, you think Amir is so much better than Asik that Amir makes us a Playoff team and Asik makes us a tanking one? Please lol

It's well known that Amir is our winningest player. We'd be trading him for a player that would either come off the bench or force Jonas to the 4. This is not a win-now move.

Bleh I'm pro-tanking but you have to let other people have opposing viewpoints otherwise it just becomes a big circlejerk.

Mirrornick failed by using a Hitler meme, but I would hope that if someone was to create another pro-playoffs thread (like last year) that the tWo would be classy enough to let the three or four dissenters converse in peace.

Because tWo took over that thread.

Fighting the TWO is fruitless. It will always prevail.

Of course they should take sides. They should take the right side. TWO.

NBA 2k14 looks amazing for next gen consoles. I might get 2k14 and do TWO on that.

Damn, Casey needs to bench DeRozan before he brings us back in this game.

I went to the game today (mainly to see Rose play... ugh), and TWO was there in full force. I'm pretty sure we were down by 30 at one point, and amongst the boos, I heard someone say "KEEP THE TANK GOING RAPS" and multiple cries of "ANDREW WIGGINS!".

Too good.

FIRE TL. FIRE MASAI. Get on the bandwagon while there is still room! It's going to get overcrowded in a hurry.

I didn't hear any tank talk when we had Vince in his prime and we were winning games at a good rate.

People just don't want to cheer for a 9th place team going nowhere.

Me and my friends got that planned out for the Nuggets game which is about a month away.
Hopefully we're losing at some point of the game..
