btw stop with the blowing the lead, its the playoffs, you expect teams to lay down? SPURS have blown a lead, coached by POP! calm your tits guys, a win in playoffs is huge, regardless of how it comes.
Nets also blew a big lead in game 3.

The main thing is we busted out a win and we are up 3-2.

Lets celebrate that. Im sure there will be lots of talk within the coaches and players about the 4th

Dear god, my emotions.

Casey really needs to understand that if he's closing the game with Amir-Pat, Jonas HAS TO START THE 4TH. Why in the world would Hayes be playing extended minutes when we're struggling to score? We don't need him in there to lock down Andray freakin Blatche, I'd rather the Nets attempt to run the ball through him if he's being guarded by Jonas.

We were still up 10-14 points for that stretch, but were playing 4 on 5 offensively. It allowed Brooklyn to easily trap and clog the lane. It's game 5 in 2-2 series when we've had 2 days off...there's no excuse to not play your top 8 guys big time minutes.

I have nothing against Hayes but it kills our offensive dynamic when he's on the floor. The worst part is we called a time out up 8 with 5:45 left...and Hayes was STILL in afterwards. Jonas came in 2 possessions later. It's just a baffling rotation decision, I can't make sense of it.

I thought Chuck did some good things in the first half. Salmons however.... If he was any better he would be useless. Fields was active too :banghead:

There were quite a few stupid shots, mostly in the first half. But yeah, he busts his butt out there and fills that stat sheet. Isn't just a chucker anymore. Gotta like that.

We should've lost that game. So many stupid 4th quarter fouls. Refs were on our side after the first quarter.. and we still almost lost.

The difference was Chuck Hayes' one-footed runner.

I bet they do a ton of close out drills in practice to avoid the 12 points on kick out 4 point plays we gave up in that 4th.

I hear what people are saying about Brooklyn's confidence but if we stomped on them I honestly think we are too immature to come out in game 6 with the mental toughness to do what will be needed to win. We would have relaxed and they would have been even more fired up than they already will be.

Now, our guys are pissed that they nearly lost it and will fight like they did lose and are down 3-2.

Amir Johnson had about the worst quarter of basketball I have ever seen from him.

A win that feels like a loss. I'll take it, but the momentum might have shifted for Game 6.

So many mistakes in that 4th, even on the last play, why the f would vasquez throw it towards our net?

Also my only gripe with the team was how many damn 4 point plays did we give up ??? That's gotta be an nba playoff record or something

Not even mad. That comeback was due to laziness and unsustainable shooting. 3 4 point plays in one quarter? lol

What's the winning percentage for teams that go up 3-2 after surrendering 43 points in the 4th quarter?

If I'm Kidd, I throw out a lineup of:

Plumlee
Teletovic
Pierce
Johnson
Williams

And then watch them truck the Raptors by 20.

If I were Lowry I lay it on my teammates pretty thick for that collapse.

If I'm Masai I lay it on my coach for the same reason.

and how about teh Raptors inbounding the ball into the Brooklyn end with one second left? How **** stupid are they? That is literally the worst thing you can do at that position, even if you turn it over in your end it won't matter, how hard is that to understand?

The Raptors gave up the lead, but they won. From what I've seen in these playoffs, most teams fight back like that, so I'm not too surprised it happened. They should have never gotten to the point where they tied it though. Either way, the Raptors didn't break. They gave up the lead, but managed to still win in the end. Onto the next one.
