EDIT: Grayson Allen is a guy DX is sleeping on IMO. Defense might be an issue, but dude has tons of offensive tools.

Looks like he spent the summer in the gym...those were some powerful drives to the rack.

he has always had those powerful legs.
the thing with Allen is how much he can improve in terms of IQ and running a team, defense could be an issue but he is really skilled.
He is a good bet to go lotto, reminds me of Bob Sura.

I'm going to dial the time machine back another decade...Sarunas Marciulionis.

My Cal Bears are legit this year! Jabari Bird is our fifth best player, putting us talent wise in the top 10 in the country, at least.

Four guys from this team are getting drafted in 2016. Two of them are lottery (Brown and Rabb) and another two could be firsts (Wallace and Bird). And if Bird is still around when we pick in the second round - are we not obligated to take him? That is a rule, right?

Go Bears!!

I'm interested in how this Maryland team does in the ACC. Kinda liking Stone and Jake Layman as potential draftees.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Im not worried about Grayson on the defensive end, he has the physical tools to be a good one(not elite but good) and he definitely has the heart and motor on that side of the ball. I like the Bob Sura comparison, I dont think Grayson will ever be a starting guard on a championship team, but I can see him being the 6th man on a championship team.

Smart-Hunter-Simmons have skill-sets that IMO would fit perfectly together.

So you're not turned off at all by Simmons willingness to completely not give any effort defensively in big spots? For me it's hard to look past when this team is for the most part about leaving it all out there on that end. Not everybody on this team are great defensively but they all try (maybe minus Sullinger), there's just so many times I've seen Simmons just not give a f***.

Simmons doesn't do it for me at this point. Seems like he buys his own hype too much. Doesn't play with enough intensity for someone who cannot shoot a lick.

Don't see him scoring big-time on the next level right now and he absolutely needs to have the rock in his hands to do anything - no off the ball skills whatsoever.

You surround him with shooters at every other position and let him playmake - thats his best role right now. But his shot is completely **** broken - he cannot shoot the basketball - and I don't know a single big time scorer who doesn't hit 3's to soften the D for his drives.

If Simmons doesnt "do it" for you, then I dont know what does. Best prospect in years

I was going to say this while he was in HS, but I wanted to wait a bit to see him at the summits and thru a couple games in college before I threw it out there.....but Simmons is a much better prospect then Lamar Odom. Simmons reminds me of cough, cough....Magic Johnson

He's the real deal... and any questions about his approach to the game or will to compete every night are going to be blown away

Cool story, I actually have his signed kicks from the first game he ever played in Australia for the national team (second ever national game).. he went out of his way to give me a few minutes post-game

Great kid, high character, his dad played locally here and I know them through a couple of joint friends... Haven't been this invested in a prospect for a good while, and him winding up in green would be something special

He hasn't even hit a jumpshot yet and it doesn't matter...I've seen all I need to see in two games. He can play in the NBA today and I would take him above anyone in this last draft including KAT. He is a 6'10" Jason Kidd.

Updated draft express video of Dragan Bender.

Said it before but this guy definitely looks like he fits into what this team wants to do.

Listening to Sirius nba radio right now and Fran Fraschilla just compared Simmons to Magic and LeBron.

Also said Bender is a nice prospect but doesn't have the athleticism of Porzingis.

My only thing with Simmons is is he a scorer? I feel like we have a number of playmakers but what we really lack is a lethal scorer who can be a threat from anywhere. I'm not sure Simmons has the mindset of a primary scorer.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

If C's get a shot to draft Simmons...you do it. He'll score. He's too big, strong, athletic and fast to not score. He'll never be a Kevin Durant-Type....But he can be a 22-24ppg guy. It's the 8rpg and 7apg that'll separate him from others.

Ainge will find other guys that can put the ball in the basket as well. Thomas can score too

He's got a hitch in his shot that needs to be worked out. I haven't even seen him take a jumpshot yet. Hasn't needed to but BfB was right that at the very least, it is something he needs to work on
