Would’ve really liked having him against Milwaukee on Thursday. We’ve been able to win without him though so it’s cool.

It’d be nice to have him tomorrow versus Boston actually they are gaining on us

As long as we get one of the next two (vs BOS, at MIL) before the all-star break we're good.

It feels a little worrisome that the team has been leaking he would probably play tonight and now all of a sudden he’s out through the break.

Combined with him weirdly showing up a couple days late here after the trade was completed, not attending either of our weekend games. Just giving me weird vibes.

Very worrisome. They clearly hate each other.

I feel like we've said this about Ben and Joel for about 4 years now and it turned out that they do dislike each other, lol.

I still feel, in my heart (and I can only go by my heart - I'm not a person who goes by my brain), that James Harden is ultimately unknowable.

I would have been more surprised if Harden played in the games before the break than him not playing them, it makes more sense with learning the team structure and system, getting him some hammy rehab and time to work with the coaching and training staff off the floor, plus finding his favorite parking spot at Delilah's.

Yeah, it makes sense to acclimate Harden more to the team, needs more time to gel with the team, so we can lose in the second round instead of losing in the first round Image

Then again, Embiid himself has been a red flag for most of his career, and look at where he is. Sometimes you need to accept risk in order to get dat sweet reward!

Reading the Neubeck post-practice write up has me so hyped for this team that I’m not gonna let Harden’s delayed debut ruin it for me. Get his hammy right, get him acclimated to the team & city, and come out firing after the ASG.

Dude, remember, chill.

I think if he doesn't play after the break, there is cause for concern. But yo know what, it's still better than having no one. Even if Harden is out through April, once he's bettter, he'll be waaaaaaaaaaay better than no Ben at all. We are killing it right now, and a loss here and there isn't going to ruin our chances. Wooosaaah. Serenity now. Whatever helps you, just relax bro.

Good move. Rushing back from hamstring injuries is not wise.

Agreed. I think there's already friction between Harden and Joel. Harden seemed aloof today, really only practicing with Maxey (remind you of anyone?) away from the rest of the team. And now he's not playing this week? Getting BIG BS vibes from this cat. Red flags for sure.

For all those "red flags" peeps, has it ever occurred to you that maybe he does need time/rest for his injuries (hammy/hand)? I for one didn't believe he was faking injuries to force a trade. And so far I've seen nothing that proves me wrong.

Hamstrings and calf injuries have a high rate of recurring. This isn't a forearm contusion. You take your time with hamstring injuries.
