Still, he doesn't appear to be a Ja-type player who keeps continuous pressure on the rim. If he's going to have to rely on outside shooting, it's going to take a few years to be effective. It's kind of the same way it took Cole 3 years to learn to be efficient.

Black is around 3 inches taller, and it's easier for him to see over the defense, get shots off around the rim, and defend. I noticed that when watching tape of Black and Scoot , Scoot has to elevate to get the shots off, and Black didn't.

I would bet on Black over Scoot long-term.

Why even bring Black into conversation about rookie(s) who play, if Black is DNP-CD guy?

What are we basing out comparisons? Guy who plays against nba starters vs guy who simply doesn't play?

it's irrelevant.

Scoot has crazy athletic pop, but he has to handle the ball better.

Black first has to beat somebody to get into rotation for us to have anything to talk about.
If we picked Scoot with our 6th pick, he wouldn't be in our rotation either.

I remember people saying they were jealous of Houston and they're youth...goes to show you how important IQ, heart and toughness are over flash. Even Detroit has surpassed them imo.

I kinda wanted the Bulls to implode. Bad loss for the Pacers though

Edit: Raptors imploding will be a nice consolation prize.

Double edit: GTJ is super one dimensional

Ausar has been very good for the Pistons so far. Can't shoot a lick (1-6 from 3PT), but he's been stuffing the stat sheet otherwise.

4 PTS, 7 REB, 3 AST, 5 BLK in game 1
6 PTS, 13 REB, 6 AST, 1 BLK in game 2
9 PTS, 12 REB, 5 AST, 1 BLK, 1 STL in game 3

13 PTS, 10 REB, 3 AST, 3 BLK, 1 STL so far tonight with a quarter to go.

The bright side: one less undefeated team and closer to the Magic being the only one left. This may be short lived lol

I have to say, Warriors look very nice this year.

And oh, Harden to Clippers.

Getting rid of Poole was the best thing the Warriors could have done.

The Harden trade happening right now should be good news for us. If the trade goes officially through Harden won’t play and even if it doesn’t the Clippers are assuredly going to sit out players they have agreed to trade.

Literally i was just gearing up to write post how Poole will play himself out of nba very fast if he doesn't change his ways.

It feels like yesterday ( it was 2 years ago) when i was arguing i would take Herro over him.

He just doesn't have filter and his confidence is irrational to a point of ignorance.

btw Memphis sucks big time without Ja this time around.

They are 0-4 after playing 3 games at home.

It’s Batum, Marcus Morris, RoCo, KJ Martin and draft picks going to Philly for Harden and PJ Tucker.

ding ding ding

I mentioned this on the GB the other day. It was a mistake to trade him... especially while knowing Ja was going to be out for an extended period.
