Gobert EARNED both of those first quarter fouls. An IDIOTIC reach-in and a clear foul on an Embiid drive.

The second Towns foul was a touch foul, but the first Towns foul was AFTER a push in Embiid’s back under the basket that WAS NOT CALLED. Did you see that? Huh?

The Nuggets shot their first free throw of the night with 2:27 left in the 3rd quarter against the Raptors. Note, they shot 55 shots inside the 3pt line tonight and had 40 points in the paint by this point.

Meanwhile, we're watching Embiid get the softest whistle in NBA history (potentially) and having 76ers fans argue it's the right call vs the entire General Board. Here's the free throw timeline of Embiid against the Timberwolves in just the 1st quarter:
8:31 - Free throws 1+2
8:08 - Free throws 3+4
2:45 - Free throws 5+6
0:31 - Free throws 7+8
We can stop here because that's more than Denver had as a team in a full game against the Raptors tonight despite scoring 62 points in the paint.

The referee who ejected Jokic in Chicago hasn't refereed since January 13. Of note, while he swallowed his whistle for Jokic, he played a huge role in gifting Giannis 36 free throws the very next night. That was the last game he was involved in.

People are starting to notice the discrepancy between how teams and players are being officiated. I get that it's exciting when you're the beneficiary of such egregious discrepancy, but life long fans of the "boring" teams are getting fed up.

They both reach for a loose ball at the same time. Embiid closes his arm and flails. How the hell is that a foul on Gobert? Are you really saying whoever closes their arm first and swings it to the ceiling gets the benefit of the whistle? Only in Adam Silver's NBA does that score you points with refs when they both contributed equally to incidental contact.

Why the hell is Gobert even reaching in? Just go back on D, you IDIOT.
