American Idol? Really? Americas next top model?
I always record NCIS but never watch it all the way threw cause it sucks. Mentalist to but if there is nothing else on.
You should really record Criminal Minds on Wednesday. It's amazing but that's only if you like learning about physcology.
I also watch Dog Whisperer Man vs Wild Most Evil, Cold Case files, Family Guy, Entourage, Sopranos, Tru Blood although I doubt it comes back

I watch alot of tv as you can see.

Yeah, I like Ellie too. I remember her as the babysitter from that Everwoody show on the WB........that my sister used to watch.....yes, yes :D lol.

I used to watch Smallville Dex but I stopped after a couple of seasons. Too much Clark and Lana stuff. I have no idea what it's like now. What are they on their 8th season?

Never really saw Buffy or Angel either except for a rare episode here or there but I've heard enough good things about them over the years. Eventually I'll try to get around to watching some of them.

I'm going to give Terminator a try soon enough as well based on both of your recommendations. I'll have to get the blu-ray version of course.

Either of you checked out Battlestar or Firefly yet?

Oh and Walt i've never seen Eastbound and Down but I think that guy who's in it is hilarious. Don't know his name but he's in Tropic Thunder and Pineapple Express.

Eastbound synopsis: Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) is a washed up MLB star pitcher that goes back to his hometown of Shelby, NC and becomes the PE teacher at Jefferson Davis Middle School. He has tons of trouble dealing with his new life and refuses to let the dream of making it back to the big leagues die. Comedy ensues. Chabber, if you thought McBride was funny in Tropic Thunder and Pineapple Express, you have to give Eastbound a couple of episodes.

These youtube clips with Will Farrell in them are what got me hooked on Eastbound. He's a used car salesman.

Advert 2:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPsLIPljJkE

These other clips are not safe for work, Kenny Powers is a potty mouth.

Because surrender is death... and death is for pussies.

I loved it, hilarious show that gets better each viewing. Catch up on the internet, on demand, however. My highest of recommendations. One of my friends said it was picked up for a 2nd season, I'm highly anticipating it.

Chabber-what do you think of Castles? I've read that Nathan Fillion was in midseason form by episode one but that people don't really like the show in general.

Dex- Why did you stop watching Fringe? What do you think about Bones? I'm a fan of Curb and Seinfeld too and will openly admit to being a Buffy/Angel fan. Good show. I didn't watch during it's original run, but watching Firefly/Serenity convinced me to give it a try despite the misconceptions I had about it. I certainly didn't "get it" when it was a current show, butJoss Whedon is too good of a storyteller. I've never watched Smallville, I've heard equally good and bad things. How did James Masterson do as Brainiac? Trueblood got picked up for a second season, I enjoyed that show as well (and Anna Paquin is hot).

This thread reminds me I need to try Terminator out. I have it ready to go, just haven't been able to get around to it.

Is it Man vs. Wild or one of the other shows where the guy's solution for everything is to pee on it? :D

Fats, do you like Big Love? I liked season one, then it kinda became my gf's favorite show that I watched but wasn't that into and now I like it again. It's a fascinating drama.

Dollhouse chat--What do you guys think so far? Past 3 weeks have shown some really serious plot development. Dichen Lachman (Whedon has done it again...) is my darkhorse candidate for the quarterly Walt Cronkite's 2009 "Hottest Chick Out There" Nomination.

walt - like you, i thought big love was good season 1. last year, i quit watching towards the end. too much juniper creek bs. it got boring. i started watching again this season and it was 100 times better. the episode where they went on the family vacation was classic. those people are freaking nuts.

I'll check it out soon, hopefully it's on demand because it seems pretty funny from the clips you showed me.

Castle has followed the same formula for almost every episode so far but that's not always a bad thing. It works for shows like House. So far most of the murders have been interesting with some twists but a few have been relatively straight forward. As for the relationship that the show hinges on there is a little chemistry between Nathan and his co-star but I wouldn't say there are sparks. Overall it's definitely not a must see but I am enjoying it because I like Nathan's character. He pretty much gives the show some charm.

As for Dollhouse it has picked up some steam. Early on it was decent but the recent overall plot revelations have opened up a lot of possibilities if the show can just get picked up again. It actually reminds me a bit of Alias in that it's someone trying to bring down a secret organization from the inside and you find out it's going to be a lot harder task than originally thought because there are multiple branches. Difference is in Alias, Jennifer Garner was a double agent and here Dushku is a Doll who gets her memory wiped over and over.

I gotta agree with you as well Walt. I've been noticing her more than the main character in each episode.

I want to thank Coach Brown for activating Sean May for those last games, it means I can use him on NBA Live 09 on the PS3 when playing online.

Sean May in his last effort abused the LA Lakers for 54 points on 21-29 shooting :o
The Lakers had no answer for him.

Doesn't really say much for the bloke I was playing against though.

There was this plotline that was explained in the 1st two movies and that was enough, but they opted to milk some more money and try to make Claire Danes an action star. Oh and they wanted to make a Terminator that was hot and could make her Boobs grow. Because thats how Skynet figured they could defeat the humans. Give all the Terminators huge tits and then the men fighting the machines would be distracted and Skynet could wipe everyone out.

I haven't seen Firefly yet but I saw the movie Serenity. I don't know how i missed it. Summer Glau and Joss and I didn't know about it. Thats weird.

As for Smallville I hated Lana to which shows you just how corny it was because it's hard to hate such a hottie. Now it is all special effects and basically everything it can be. A ton of fight scenes, Doomsday is there, he fought Brainiac many times and it is just flat out awesome. It's like a movie every week. The story is about Clark and Louis now but unlike the movies she is the one in love and he is completely ignorant to it so no corny love story. Lana is off the show which is great. Louis is not as hot in the face but she has a stomach and body that is probably the only women in holywood that you can make a Jessica Beil body comparison. Idk if that means anything but I am an abb guy. I take a 6 with great abs over a 8 with great t and a any day. I myself do 1000 crunches a day.

i stopped watching fringe cause of the bad acting. I do like Bones alot. Nobody wathces supernatural? It's a freaking great show.

Did any of you guys see the last eposide of Terminator? That was sick. I pray they change there mind and make a season 3.
As for Dollhouse though I don't think it's gonna last. I think that asian girl is not really that hot. If Terminator is canceled though maybe they will cast Summer on Dollhouse and maybe that can keep her on tv a little longer which is all I really care about.

So I know what tv you guys watch (although please lets keep that conversation going cause it's a good one) but who are you.
How old, married, what do you guys do?
I have 1 friend here since I am new to the area so the only thing I do is work with my dogs, watch tv and work trying to keep my company from going out of buisness. I work from home telemarketing and all paper work and basically everything but the manual labor I sell. It sucks balls.
Im 28 and married to a beautiful women but she is a total bitch half the time but I kind of like spicy food more then cream puffs anyway so it works. Nice girls I find boring.
My only other hobby's right now is working out and dieting. I have lost 65 pounds so far (got 20 more to go) since December which is probably why I hate Sean May so much. If I can do it why can't he.

So who are you guys? I didn't check the other posts and if I posted this already sorry, but I don't remember anybody responding.

Thank you and Bigslam has threatened to ban me. It's completely not fair. I have never complained about anyone while taking personal attacks ever since I keep here and i stood up for myself on 3-4 posts and before and now it seems Im on the verge of getting kicked off. I stopped after the first email warning.

I haven't seen any reason you should be banned but I'm not a moderator nor do I have the time to be on here 24/7 to see everything you've posted.

The link below is to the GTKYFBF part 2 thread. I didn't want to go back looking for the first thread.

viewtopic.php?f=53&t=870018

That should answer a good bit of your questions about some of us.

I do web integration for building HVAC controls, lighting, doors and security etc...it's like any other job. I like some parts of it and really fraking hate the others.

As for my age I'm 31. Live in a town home near UNCC. One of my friends rents a room from me and we watch TV, play games and chill together most of the time. Other than that I've got a lot of friends because I've lived here all of my life and we'll get together and hang out a lot as well.

Out of all of my friends though my sister is my best friend. She married one of my friends from childhood so we all get along well. They have 2 1/2 year old boy named Lucas Maximus Aldridge, (yeah, I know). I try and spend as much time with him as I can and will have to teach him out to ball. If I don't he'll grow up and be uncoordinated like his dad.
