I can't believe we did that. I know there are a few around here who don't like him but he's much better on defense than people give him credit for and he could be coming into a perfect situation for him. If he's ready to play team ball, we have the best starting 5 under 25 and I don't think it's close.

I hope I'm wrong about Monroe. I was ready to laugh at the Knicks for giving him that much money. But he is a good passer from the past and his rebounding has gotten a lot better.

This was the year to make an aggressive move like that. While I gave Kidd/Hammond crap for GV trade, this is a coup. Awesome.
